  1. I've just tried using the nvflash command - nvflash --save "filename.rom" and the same message about the graphics card has come up. It says detecing GPU failed, EEPROM ID unknown....
  2. I've already tried to RMA the card through ASUS but they have told me it needs to be returned to the original retailer it was purchased from and that they can't help.
  3. Hi Andrew, I've looked on GPU-Z and the bios version says unknown. I've just tried to save the current bios from the card to try and read them in hex, but GPU-Z says "bios reading not supported on this device" I've attached a photo. The device ID looks wrong as well at 10DE-1B06- 0000 0000
  4. Hi guys, This is my first post on the forum so apologies if this is in the wrong category or not allowed! However I'm looking for some help. I recently bought a faulty Asus Strix GTX 1080ti from ebay which doesn't display a image. It still has its warranty sticker on so has never been taken apart, and I've looked at the bios on NVflash and believe its been bricked by the previous owner maybe trying to flash a custom bios? I've already tried to RMA the card with ASUS but they've said that it needs to be returned to the original retailer it was purchased from and that they cannot help me. When typing NVflash --list the graphics card is recognized and shows up, however the EEPROM ID is 00,0000: Unknown - which looks wrong to me. (I've flashed a number of ex mining cards before) In GPU-Z the GPU shows up as " Video controller (VGA Compatible) and the device ID looks dodgy as well at 10DE 1B06 - 0000 0000. The bios version tab just says unknown and I'm not able to save the current bios off the card as it says "bios reading not supported on this device" I'm trying to restore the original bios but I keep getting the following error messages (see photos as well): Adapter not accessible or supported EEPROM not found skipping - Detecting GPU failed - Expection Caught - Nothing changed! I've been googling and some people have mentioned a program called HEX to make a custom bios that might fix it? However I have no idea how to use that, so if anyone has any insight or can help me out I'd really appreciate it! Thanks
