My GF has an MSI B450-A Pro MAX mainboard and it worked fine until today. Her PC wouldn't post with monitor displaying "no signal" and mobo lighting up the VGA debug LED. This seemed like a pretty straightforward issue, until she tried taking out the dGPU(RX 570) and connecting display into the onboard display outputs that hook into the iGPU in her 3200G. The system still reported no signal and VGA LED remained lit up. She tried connecting it to a different monitor with a different cable, but the issue remained.
Usual troubleshooting like taking out CMOS battery didn't help.
I've seen some people say that AMD APUs might report as "no VGA" on the motherboard if the CPU itself is dead, does anyone know if that's true?
She sadly doesn't have any spare GPUs/CPUs to easily troubleshoot the issue and I live too far away to swap components from my system.
