  1. Hi, Sorry for the crap information regarding the system. Basically it's a new MSI Gamer Edge WiFi mobo and a new AOC 32" curved monitor connected by DP. If I run a HDMI cable to the TV I see the Bios splash screen but the monitor stays in sleep mode untll the windows log on screen. I've swapped the DP output but no difference. I've checked the mobo bios but no quick boot option available that I can find. I did notice, relevant or not, that the Bios is set to CMS and not UEFI?Also I don't have any ATX power to CPU2 4pin input but again not sure if this is relevent.
  2. I've also just noticed that if I jump into the Bios with delete during startup the monitor stays in standby mode, so I cant see the Bios on the screen at all. The screen only powers up when the Windows log in screen appears.
  3. So I built a new PC and everything seems fine so far but when I switch the PC on it takes a while for the video card to send a signal to the monitor, the monitor stays in standby mode until the Windows log in screen, I don't see the Bios splash screen or anything until windows log in. The monitor is connected with a DVI cable. Any thoughts? I only noticed this morning so I've not tried switching to HDMI or swapping cards out or anything yet. TIA Martin
