    Read my post again, i already ordered the schiit magni 3, but was wondering if i needed a DAC

    Okay, so i just bought some new headphones and a amp, it's the Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro and the schiit magni 3. I was wondering if i could just buy a RCA to jack cable and plug it into my motherboard(realtek ALC662), or should i spend the extra cash on the modi DAC?
