I have a Z87 motherboard from 2014, I dont have RGB headers

I just got a Fractal design meshify C. So I now have a side panel with a window. I want to add some white RGB strips but I do not know where to start. I've found a 5m led strip but I dont know how to power it. So now im considering the DEEPCOOL RGB 350, but would love some suggestions on how to get into this.

Hey there I have a EVGA SC GTX 1070 as my GPU, nothing fancy, I think its a reference PCB with an EVGA cooler. Along with an i7 4770K @ 4.4GHz and 16gb of ram. Over the past 2 weeks I have been noticing significant and random frame fluctuations from 60 to 45 to 37 to 50 to 60 while playing games like TW3, GTAV, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and assassins creed origins. I play these games at 1080p with the graphics maxed out except in the cases of Hairworks or MSAA where I keep those off or on low. In GTAV I notice it the most when driving, be it slow or fast. In TW3, it occurs random, I cant place the circumstances. I have tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling, also tried 2 previous drivers. The only result with that was one of the old drivers gave screen tear when watching youtube. I have also overclocked my gpu by 150MHz and Memory by 200MHz, this decreases the frequency of occurrence with my card nearing 90% load less but it still happens. Below is an image of it happening while playing TW3. anyone else have this issue or know how to deal with it? Thanks?

I agree with above of it being a bottleneck, but games are more reliant on the gpu than the cpu, sure he can gain 10-15 fps from a better cpu but he will gain the most from his gpu. With a budget that tight, he should have bought the best he could on black Friday or cyber Monday, because in terms of low end gpu's every dollar makes a difference in performance, so you want the best deal possible for the price. He can wait until Christmas sales or buy a used gpu, with the budget i see buying a used gpu as the better deal. I recently got a used 1070 founders for 300.

In my budget of 3000 CAD, I wanted a 256gb ssd, GTX 1070, i5 or i7, a good keyboard, decent battery life and a 15.6" screen. With these I settled on these 2 laptops. If you have any other suggestions i'm open. As far as usage goes, it will be gaming with games like FC5 or TW3 then using Microsoft word and the alike for schoolwork. Battery life of 4hrs doesn't seem to be an issue for me.

I'm looking for a gaming laptop atm and have narrowed it down to the Msi GS63 and GS65. imo the GS65 has a sleeker look, but otherwise the increase in cores and refresh rate don't mean much to my games like far cry 5, which won't go above 100fps avg on ultra 1080p. That may be the case but they shouldn't be delaying shipments and not responding to customers. The only thing that has gone under are the east coast brick and mortar locations, all the locations on the west side are fine and the online shopping experience should be fine as well.

What does the i5 have to do with this, it is kind of off putting and confusing that you have it listed. Is it your current chip or are you saying you are willing to buy that for an extra 20 bucks

A decent air cooler will do you just fine. Linus recently did a video on it too.

Its a pretty exquisite projector imo. Look small but looks may be deceiving.

Which Ohm version would you suppose that I get? I can get a amp if its needed but do the different ohms have a big gap in sound?

Looking for new headphones to buy, currently rocking some old $50 sony's which feel like crap. I've heard high end headphones and the thing is once you listen to them there is no coming back. At the moment I am choosing between these 3 but can't choose one. I'm a basshead but also like to listen to instumental music and I game a lot. Looking for headphones which would be perfect for all 3 categories and I have come down to Sony's MDR-1A, Sennheiser's Momentum 2 and Beyerdynamic DT770Pro. Welcoming any other suggestions which fit me needs.
