  1. Turing xmp off for the corsair vengeance didn't help but I have a set of team skill ram that does run perfectly fine on xmp at 3000mhz under stress. The corsair can run fine at 3000mhz but something is stopping them from running at 3600mhz
  2. So I found out going through bootrec that there were 0 windows installations on my pc and it fully reinstalled windows again. Only 2 sticks of ram will work at xmp in single or dual channel. 3 sticks run at xmp until they hit a decent load then crash and 4 refuses to reach desktop all together.
  3. ok I did 2 fresh windows managed to get to the desktop then got Bsod and now back at square one. Im starting to believe that this might be a mobo error casue any change in bios even ignoring cpu fan monitor since I have an aio will cause it to go to the megatrend screen. Even full replacing the Cmos battery with a new one didn't fix ths issue.
  4. I just disable secure boot and got the recovery screen saying my pc needs to be repaired and any button press keeps it turning off and booting again
  5. yes, I also just tested a different set of ram and still get the same screen as before at 2133mhz.
  6. Even setting all the stick back to base xmp or 2133mhz still wont fully boot with 2 or more sticks and gets stuck in a loop of booting and turning off
  7. Specs: Windows 10 64bit i9 9900k Asus z390-e rog zotac 1080 mini 4x 8gb corsair vengeance 3600mhz Be Quiet Straight Power 11 1200w Platinum Samsung SSD 860 QVO 2tb SanDisk SSD Plus 240gb After I set my ram to 3700mhz my computer staring have trouble reaching desktop with 2 or 4 of my ram in. It will only successfully boot to desktop if only 1 stick is in. I checked each ram stick to see if they're good and they all work fine by themselves and reach 3600mhz. Clearing Cmos by battery or jumpers doesn't help and neither did updating bios. Any attempt to boot gets me to the american megatrends screen and once to the other screen. Does anyone know any fix to this? Thanks
  8. There were 4 bent pins in the socket but one snapped in the process and the system is show display even with all 4 ram sticks in. Is this something I should be worried about?
  9. I just got a 8700k and put it in my fans started spinning, the cooler and its rgb lit up and the gpu was going but I had no display on my monitor. I went back to the 8100 i was using before and still got no display. I used different gpus and still got nothing. I took all but 1 stick of ram out and got to the Bios menu and then desktop. I moved the ram to different slots and no display came up so I moved it back to the original slot and nothing happened. I tried the other ram in the set and a different set and still got nothing. Even resetting bios didn't do anything.
