Yes I am aware that it is not supposed to reset, but I can not think of any other reason of why this is happening. he sent a video of it running than tear down and packing for shipping in-which he did nothing to stop it from working.I have tried ram in different slots, different ram, and even without Ram just plain hoping for some sort of memory error.I have even tried different power supply's. I can't get nothing, no beeps no video but CPU/ fans/ and chip-set all seem to be working all heat up all have power. It makes no sense to me. I got this as a backup file server build and the damn thing wont post.I can't throw money at it, like i said i have tried dif ram, dif slots, no ram, add in video card(just in case on-board video was dead with no luck) I am at a lose here. I thank you for your in-put and I'm still hopeful someone will come across this post with a solution.

I have a HP aahd2-hy holly motherboard with an AMD A6-3600 I bought this from a guy who swears it works, however I can try to boot to get a post code fans spin up CPU heats up, but no video output, no beeps, nothing. I have tried with ram without ram at-least hoping to get a memory error post but nothing. the web says the board supports the CPU, but I can't find a system with it stock. did this board come with a lower end CPU (I received it with the cmos battery removed) so only thing I can come up with is they updated the bios put in this bigger CPU and when he shipped it to me and removed the battery the bios reset to default and is no longer compatible? I don't have another CPU to try and don't want to buy one if it wont work. Is this a possibility? I am at a lose here, any help would be great.can someone help me I need this board to boot.

i already tried that like 14 times in last six months hoping every time it would help with no prevail. i have assemblies several other models and replaced boards so no fear in replacing parts, but no luck finding interchangeable parts and cant afford to throw money at it buying stuff that may or may not work if i knew for a face exactly what was bad i would than buy the part but at this point it could be one of three things ribbon/ connection, or port/ board, or the display itself but i don't really think so since it back lights instead of just being dead and it has never come into contact with anything that would have damage it i always take extra fragile care of all my tech devices. i have ran out of viable options.

can't afford to buy a screen and it be the port than i would need the board. or buy a board and oh its the display or in the end buy both to find out its the ribbon. that would be my luck.

i'm about to the point of modding plexi glass over where the display is removing the display completely so to show the board making a riser and placing a fan at an angle completely sealed to pass the air across the whole board and placing some r.b.g. under the glass and using it as a desktop shame to let the i5 6300u and the 8gb of ram to goto waste

thats the issue there is no support and i cant just throw money at it these parts when you can find them sketchy there expensive chances. i need to plug my display into a dif device to see if it works- can't weird connection only on sur pro. plug dif display into my board can't get a display that i know for a fact works, but i have video out put to external so i don't believe it's the board i'm assuming it's display/ribbon/ or port and there's no access to these parts.

MY TOUCH INPUT WORKS FINE SCREEN BACK LIGHTS BUT SHOWS NO DISPLAY, I HAVE TO RUN IT ON EXTERNAL MONITOR WHICH SUX BECAUSE I CAN'T TAKE IT WITH ME AND UPDATES, YEAH I CANT SEE WHAT'S HAPPENING JUST CROSS FINGERS AND WAIT FOR WINDOWS TO SHOW ON OTHER SCREEN WAS HOPING LINUS COULD HELP ME THERE IS LITERLY NOWAY OF TESTING ANYTHING ABOUT THIS THING IT'S JUST LIKE LINUS'S MAC PRO ISSUE I CAN'T GET SERVICE

i have built custom pc's for yearsi tried to start a shop, but there is nothing tech exciting happening anywhere near me.SUX. i would love to do what these guys do. i love what happens on the show since i can't build these dream projects like them due to cash concerns. i would love to build a project with them consisting of an suv with a 4 player gaming pc in the back with a full streaming platform so you can always have all your media needs. i did something like this to my jeep with a surface pro 4 running up front and powering a 2nd display in the back for my chilling streaming/ gaming needs. i have built classic cars as a hobby for years really want to do a project with them incorperating the best of both worlds!!! HIT ME UP LINUS!!
