  1. I have all sorts of critical errors and errors with drivers. I do have errors for AMD graphics card but also for headset, network adapter, registries etc. I have no idea what to do... I updated everything that I can think of and I did it manually but nothing helps. This is truly hopeless.... EDIT: Forgot the screenshot
  2. My system: (Brand new):Monitor: Acer Nitro XV272UPMotherboard: Asus TUF x570 plus with Wi Fi updated to newest bios 1.2CPU: Ryzen 3700XGPU: Sapphire Pulse 5700 XT (19.9.2 - Recommended version)PSU: Corsair RMx 650 WWindows 10 (up to date)The Problem:So this happens completely randomly (mostly while I'm in desktop) my screen goes black and my PC is still running but unresponsive. After like half a minute I can start hearing my clicks or apps but the screen remains black. After the initial black screen everything freezes but after a while the PC resumes (at least the audio and the controls) but the monitor has no signal. This hasn't happened once while I was gaming, only when I'm idle, browsing or watching something. So I went to check with the event viewer and there are multiple critical level and error level issues. I'll list some of them. 1. "Critical Level. The device HID-compliant headset (location (unknown)) is offline due to a user-mode driver crash. Windows will attempt to restart the device 4 more times. Please contact the device manufacturer for more information about this problem. User-mode Driver problems. Task Category: User-Mode Driver Problems"2. Critical Level: ""A problem has occurred with one or more user-mode drivers and the hosting process has been terminated. This may temporarily interrupt your ability to access the devices." - Task Category: User-Mode Driver Problems"3. Error Level. "The AMD External Events Utility service failed to start due to the following error:The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion"4. Error Level. "A timeout was reached (45000 milliseconds) while waiting for the AMD External Events Utility service to connect"5. Error Level. "Audit events have been dropped by the transport. 0"6. Error Level. "Failed with 0x490 modifying AppModel Runtime status for package Microsoft.NET.Native.Framework.1.3_1.3.24211.0_x86__8wekyb3d8bbwe for user FRACTAL\Nino (current status = 0x0, desired status = 0x20)"7... And there are like 100x of warnings: "An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk2\DR4 during a paging operation." What I've tried: Updating all drivers to recommended versions (including bios). Had no effect at all. Stress testing CPU and GPU - everything is fine, the noise and the temps are normal. I used furmark and prime95 Unplugging the HDMI cable and plugging it back in. I want to note that my monitor came with only 1 HDMI cable and my graphics card has only one slot that supports "that" type of a HDMI cable. So basically I couldn't connect anything wrong cause there is only one way of doing it Turning sleep mode off and on. This had no effect. The PC and the monitor both wake up normally from sleep mode It's really frustrating that this is happening like 3 days after I've built my PC. I don't even know where to start looking for the cause of this problem. How can I fix my drivers when they are up to date? Any ideas and suggestions would be appreciated.
  3. That's a bit shocking. I kinda ignored it cause I thought there is no way an RGB software can crash entire graphics / monitor drivers... Should I get another motherboard (I can still return this one)? Or is this not a big deal?

This hasn't happened once while I was gaming, only when I'm idle, browsing or watching something. I have no idea what I have to do to cause this freeze on purpose, it's totally random. What I've tried: Updating all drivers to recommended versions (including bios). Had no effect at all. Stress testing CPU and GPU - everything is fine, the noise and the temps are normal. Any ideas and suggestions would be appreciated. UPDATE 1 I am looking at my event viewer and trying to find crash logs. I'm not sure which ones I should be looking at because I didn't look at the time when the crashes happened but I believe that the crash log stating "Faulting application name: LightingService.exe, version: 0.0.0.0" is repeating itself around the same time when I get these black screens. Next time I experience a crash I will immediately go to the event viewer.
  5. I think I managed to solve it allowing USB ports in device manager to be able to wake up the PC. It still looks weird to me because the PC would wake up but the monitor would not but apparently the solution was simple. Thanks for helping me anyway!
  6. As the title says, every time my monitor goes to sleep I have to turn it off then on to get a picture. After the monitor goes to sleep it says "no signal" and it just remains black. After turning it off then on I get a screen and everything works as intended. The PC works fine, at least I didn't notice any problems. One more important thing to note is that I just bought a new rig so I'm not sure if this is a PC, windows or monitor problem. Any ideas what might be causing this? I don't even know where to start
  7. As the title says. I got 2 codes for getting Ryzen 3700x and 5700xt and when I try to claim my reward for one code I get to choose between ghost recon and borderlands for the other code I only get xbox pass. Any ideas why there is no outer worlds? Anybody else got the same problem?
  8. Alright. So basically I should look at the GPU temp given by the driver and not the hotspot temp which is almost 20 C higher?
  9. I did it again with GPU-Z. So my GPU hot spot is 89 C (this to me looks really high considering the case and extra fans that I have). The "graphics driver" GPU temp is 70 C according to GPU-Z. Should I accept such temps or can I do something to improve this? Is this even normal?
  10. System: Case: Fractal Meshify C Fans: Additional 2x 140mm intake noctua fans CPU cooler: Dark rock pro 4 GPU: Sapphire pulse 5700 XT So I started the GPU test in Furmark and I opened Global WattMan. What shocked me is that the two apps had totally different readings on my GPU temps So during the test I got the following numbers: Furmark 89 C max, 87-88 C most of the time Global WattMan 74 C max, avg 70 C I got two questions: 1. Which one is correct? What can I do to clarify this? 2. What temps should I be expecting considering the components that I have?
  11. System: Case: Fractal Meshify C Fans: Additional 2x 140mm intake noctua fans CPU cooler: Dark rock pro 4 I'm getting 45 C at idle and 67 C under load (Furmark CPU burner) My question is, is this ok considering my cooling and what should I be expecting?
  12. Got one more question. Using NVME on my mobo wont disable a PCIe slot? Are there any drawbacks using NVME comapred to SATA on asus tuf x570?
  13. Thanks. That's exactly the answer I was looking for.
  14. The motherboard can definitely handle it. I'm just not sure is it worth it.
  15. As the title says, what do you guys think about that monitor? Would you recommend me any other monitors? I have 5700xt and a budget of about ca. 400€ Monitor will mostly be used for gaming.
  16. Corsiar vs Sabrent What are your thoughts guys? My mobo: asus tuf x570 Sabrent is awlays described as "budget" SSD so I'm wondering what is it missing? And corsair has 960 GB. My budget is around 130-140 bucks and I don't even mind Sata SSDs if somebody wants to recommend them because I will mostly be gaming.
  17. I was thinking about getting Crucial Ballistix cause of Micron dies but only 3200 CL16. I know that ryzen works well with 3600 and patriot viper costs only 10 bucks more than ballistrix and has 3600 speed. What do you guys think about this ram or would you recommend something else that wouldn't break the bank? EDIT: Forgot to mention my mobo: Asus tuf x570
  18. So going for ballistix would be a safe bet then or do they have other dies apart from Micron and Samsung? I can't find any list where I can see the dies and most online shops don't post such information.
  19. Can anybody recommend any good silent 140 mm fans that can be controlled by software like Asus Aura, Fusion or similar? I plan to add them to my meshify c and have everything controlled by one software. The corsair ones are unfortunately not compatible.
  20. I basically have the same question. I've read this link https://premiumbuilds.com/ram/best-ram-for-ryzen-3000/ and I'm aware that the sweet spot is either 3600 CL16 or 3200 CL14. My question is: are the extra speeds worth the investment? Is 3200 obsolete? A pair of 3200 CL16 costs 80-100€ A pair of 3200 CL14 costs 150-200€ A pair of 3600 CL16 costs 200+€ And if it is not worth it what 3200 sticks would you recommend that is also safe to OC to squeeze a bit of performance out of it? EDIT: One more question, is it worth going for samsung b-die?
