Seriously though, I prefer using the softwares given by the fan manufacturers. I don't know about Asus Aura, RGB Fusion, etc... But I know that MSI Mystic Light is (in my experience) one of the ugliest, unintuitive and buggiest softwares I've ever tested. A Ubisoft game on release date looks like NASA technology compared to it.

A friend of mine made his Coolermaster fans work with Asus Aura, that's all I know really.
But I couldn't tell you with absolute certainty which fans are compatible with those programs and which aren't sorry.

The stock fans are fine and there isn't much to gain from adding more fans unless you want to run fans at lower rpm for less noise.

I have the older 500 without out the mesh. Using the 2700x /5700xt combo i have nps with heat at all just using the 2 front and single 140mm exhaust.
 
I have 3 top installed just to fill the case and have never needed to use them.
 
I'm using the R-1 cooler with triple fans + the 140 exhaust.
 

official site says it can mount 3 120mm, 2 140mm or 2 200mm.
