Hello, pretty self explanatory from the title. Computer was working just fine yesterday, was playing Batman Arkham Asylum with no issue. However, on the next day I turned it on and noticed it stayed stuck on the motherboard logo that shows right before it gives the Windows start up loading. Seeing how it was stuck and wouldn’t progress, I forced shut down by holding the power button and when I tried turning it on again it wouldn’t output any video signal.
I doubt it’s an issue with the power supply as the fans and lights all turn on. I’ve tried removing the CMOS battery and inserting it again, tried removing the RAM and starting it with only one stick installed, reseated graphics card, disconnected every input device and the hard drive and still no video output. I’m stumped on what it could be as it was working just fine yesterday. I know it’s not the monitor or cable as I tried them both on another working device and I had no issues. Any help is appreciated. Here are the specs:
Motherboard: Gigabyte ga-f2a68hm-h
CPU: AMD Athlon x4 860k
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 960 SC 2gb
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaw 16GB (2x8gb) DDR3 1866
PSU: Seasonic SS-520GM M12II 520 Bronze 520W ATX Power Supply
I noticed that when I turn it on the fans instantly start at max speed and what I’m assuming is the CPU fan momentarily ramps up to be louder for a few seconds then goes back to normal. That happens about every 20 seconds. I don’t know if that could mean something. Again, thanks for any help.
