I'm upgrading my 7 year old PC. I use it mostly for browsing with some vm player work and gaming. Gaming is usally AAA titles and FPS games. I'm moving from a 4K 55" TV to something with much higher frames.
Budget, 2500 US Max!!! Wife is already going to kill me
Areas that I'm stuck:
Monitor size. 27" or 31" 1440?
Monitor make/model. I'm open to something that's going to get me 2K resolution at high FPS with freesync and maybe Gsync.
CPU upgradability. Socket 1151 is dead right, so I'm thinking Ryzan gives me some future possiblities.
PSU size. I don't know exactly what I need
I don't know if I will want or need SLI
AIO. I know AIO's don't offer the best cooling but I'm thinking about 240mm vs 360mm. I've been leaning twords 360mm for overclocking
Areas that I think I'm set
I think the x570 platform is where I can get some upgradability options
RTX is something I've been wanting to get into especially with the minecraft updates
AIOs. I know they're not the best but they look great.
RAM. I watched a video where 3600 was a sweet spot for Ryzan
