  1. Fun video but seriously, you're giving the greenlight for more spam and begging. Doesn't seem well thought-out given the obvious secondary and tertiary negative effects.
  2. How is this entire video not just an ad for a single product? It does't review the product and compare it to specific competitors, the video shows you where to buy said product, and there's an interview with the seller. This video is just an ad.
  3. I will very likely be upgrading my CPU in the near future but currently my gaming and streaming isn't CPU bound. It's all GPU bound. Lets say I do go with a 3080 at this time. What specific model should I look for?
  4. Thank you for the reply @Ankh Tech Ryzen 3700x OC'd to 4.2Ghz 2080Super OC'd 16GB OC'd 3600Mhz x570 Taichi (PCIe 4.0 lanes) Usage - streaming games and light video editing
  5. Over the last month or so I've heard about MSI's alleged controversial price fixing issue. I also saw that some cards don't have proper power filtering which may have caused early crashes and had to be underclocked with drivers. So the question is which 3080 to buy? Is it even worth getting a 3080 with only 10GB of RAM? Thank you.
  6. I'm doing a new build. I have Win7 keys that I bought ages ago but I've never officially purchased Win10, I just did the upgrade when Win10 was pushed. How do I get a fresh install key? Is there a method or guide?
  7. I keep looking at the MSI Optix MAG321CQR 31.5" 2560x1440 144 Hz Monitor since it has a 1ms response time. But I can't help but wonder I'm missing something else. Budget: under $400 in the US.
  8. @GoldenLag what about 3600 CL16? There's a 16GB kit for a good price right now on Newegg
  9. Excellent point on the Thermal Paste. I wasn't sure so that's great info! @Herman Mcpootis Monitors: I read that 27" 1440 monitors are the right size and 31" and above spread out the pixles too much? Is that true? I'm coming from a 55" 4K TV on my desk so I'm going to be looking for the largest 2K monitor that I can unless it's true that 31" is too much for 2K. Comments?
  10. @5x5 It's a VA panel. I didn't find an IPS that didn't break the bank with a 1ms response time. I'll research the Thermal Paste! Good info! I'm still looking for some answers like 27" vs 31" 1440 monitors. The future SLI might be a question too which could change my mobo choice. Also do you agree with my choice on Ryzen. I'm an Intel fan so I'm really unsure if I'm making the right choice.
  11. Rgr on the prism. I'm going for the AIO's just for aesthetics to be honest. I saw in my research that air cooled is far better than AIO's. Copy on the PSU. I'll take a look and update. Any thoughts on Monitor?
  12. I'm upgrading my 7 year old PC. I use it mostly for browsing with some vm player work and gaming. Gaming is usally AAA titles and FPS games. I'm moving from a 4K 55" TV to something with much higher frames. Budget, 2500 US Max!!! Wife is already going to kill me Areas that I'm stuck: Monitor size. 27" or 31" 1440? Monitor make/model. I'm open to something that's going to get me 2K resolution at high FPS with freesync and maybe Gsync. CPU upgradability. Socket 1151 is dead right, so I'm thinking Ryzan gives me some future possiblities. PSU size. I don't know exactly what I need I don't know if I will want or need SLI AIO. I know AIO's don't offer the best cooling but I'm thinking about 240mm vs 360mm. I've been leaning twords 360mm for overclocking Areas that I think I'm set I think the x570 platform is where I can get some upgradability options RTX is something I've been wanting to get into especially with the minecraft updates AIOs. I know they're not the best but they look great. RAM.
