  1. I see. I thought any M.2 would work. Thanks a lot for the help
  2. Hello I wanted to use my old M.2 ssd and my m.2 slots were full so I bought an adapter to plug it on the last PCIE slot available which x1 I bought this one from Ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/203347501616 The SSD is: WD M.2 SATA SSD. Part number: WDS500G2B0B My Motherboard: MSI Z370M Gaming PRO AC When plugging it through the M.2 of my MB it works fine. So my problem is that my system isn't recognizing the SSD. Not in the bios nor in Windows. When touching the SSD stick it is warm so there is connectivity going through it. I tested the adapter with my OS SSD(970 Evo) and the other SSD(A2000) and both worked completely fine. I thought maybe my system can't handle that much PCI lanes. So I used both M.2 slots on the motherboard (WD+970EVO) and plugged the A2000 through the adapter and all of the 3 SSDs worked just fine. Any ideas?
  3. Not at all. Checked the BIOS and device manager, it doesn't list any other GPU than intel
  4. Hello everyone, My GPU (1080 TI) stopped working mid game for no reason. The screens went black and the GPU fans stopped spinning. Did a lot of troubleshooting as mentioned below and the result is always no signal output, fans don't spin and rgp don't turn on. I tried the following: Plug and unplug the GPU and the 8+8 power connector Plug it in the secondary PCI-E Tried to put the GPU in a completely different old system, no luck. Tried to a different GPU in my system and it worked (an old ATI HD 5550) The built-in Intel GPU is working The GPU is Gigabyte Aorus 1080 TI. I would really appreciate any help, Is there anything I can do or try to fix it? Especially with the current state of the market getting a replacement of any sort is out of the question
  5. Thanks for the help. I'm gonna wait for the reviews for the Lenovo monitor before deciding.
  6. It's 27'' The only downside is that it is TN, but I assume it won't be an issue if I only sit straight. Also, it has no HDR. Never was HDR in real life so I don't know how my experience would be any different. At the same time, that TUF monitor has HDR10 wich Linus consider HDRn't ?
  7. There is something weird about VG27AQ, it is advertised as 165Hz but NVIDIA G-sync list says that it's 144Hz https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/products/g-sync-monitors/specs/ Also I was searching and found out that Lenovo will release this soon https://www.lenovo.com/gb/en/accessories-and-monitors/monitors/gaming/Lenovo-Legion-Y27gq-25-Monitor/p/DD116LPY27G 1440p, 240Hz, 0.5ms, G-sync rather than G-sync Compatible for the TUF, but it's TN panel ?
  8. Oh sorry I totally forgot to list my specs. Here they are: 1080 ti Aorus Extreme 8700k @ 4.8 16gb ram @ 3200
  9. Hey! I have been planing for a while to upgrade my monitor so since Asus released their new TUF monitors I thought it's about time. Now I don't know which to chose PG258Q or VG27AQ. 1080p vs 1440p. TN vs IPS. 240Hz vs 165Hz. They both retail at the same price here locally. I care about gaming performance in general but the luxurious 1440p IPS + ELMB sync is so enticing. What would you guys chose? or maybe you have another recommendation within the same price range? If you have either of these monitors, how is your experience? Edit: Specs -> 1080 ti Aorus Extreme 8700k @ 4.8 16gb ram @ 3200
