DudeWhatTheN reacted to Berk1 in Recommend me Some Upgrades
Im, honestly impressed with Warzone running that well, my 1050 ti couldnt handle it that well thats why I upgraded it. How about another harddrive if you are happy with your game perfomances? If you think its not needed just save the money first

A better GPU could reasonably be thrown in, such as an RX 480/580.

DudeWhatTheN reacted to Talkingstreet in Enabeling Graphics Card Slows Performance?
Thank you for your help, but I think I found the issue, there was a safety feauture preenabled, that throttled everything to keep the charging device save when on an airplane, it was on auto and as far as I could find out, that means it basically just does things randomly

DudeWhatTheN reacted to For Science! in Does anyone know how to change your GPU to act like an RTX GPU?
Pull it out, and put an RTX GPU in your system, then it should behave as if you had an RTX GPU.

DudeWhatTheN reacted to papajo in AMD GPUs: Why I regret buying a 5700 XT
I am just a demographic of 1 but I used RX 580s(in crossifre), RX vega 64 and now a RX 5700xt used both in linux and in windows environments...
I had issues from time to time yes but mostly for complicated stuff (like there where some issues assorting multiple monitors in a dual user system) sometimes the driver just sucked in terms of like not being able to access the control panel or wattman settings getting reset.
but those where just instances of limited lifespan other than that my general experience was not nearly as bad as described here

DudeWhatTheN reacted to Whiro in Core Clock RTX 2080s vs RTX 2080ti
Core clock may be lower but you have to remember that 2080 have 2944 cuda cores and 2080 ti have 4352 cuda cores, that makes biggest difference

DudeWhatTheN reacted to 5x5 in My GPU Backplate is starting to rust. will it affect my PC performance
Rust means liquid or humidity and those mean high risk of total system failure

DudeWhatTheN reacted to Applefreak in My GPU Backplate is starting to rust. will it affect my PC performance
Wait, are those water cooling tubes in the background? The heatsink should not rust, not even after 10 years or more. I suspect a leakage, maybe replace those tubes.

DudeWhatTheN reacted to DriftMan in Should you upgrade from an i5 4590 to i7 4770?
That trash is 7 years old, it's not worth anymore (you can even get Ryzen CPU+motherboard combos cheaper than a 4770/4790 non k), so don't fall for it... You could try unlocking your BIOS and overclocking your CPU (if it's possible)

DudeWhatTheN reacted to juandeag2k in Should you upgrade from an i5 4590 to i7 4770?
I dont think its worth upgrading on such an old platform. Best to sabe your money and eventually upgrade to a current generation system.

Hmm, the ram is honestly just 20$ more than other 16 gigs and for the wattage you're right, a 500 watt psu is enough.
    Thank you mate, fixed it.

The difference between these two graphics cards is that the Radeon one could be a little more unstable and give you more problems,
while the RTX 2070 Super has a higher price but is more stable (from my experience, my RTX 2070 Gaming Z never gave me any problems) and gives circa +10 fps in 1080p.
