Thanks, Ill put it in my newer build to see. Its a hassle though because my current PSU only has one GPU power block module cable on it right now.

Try putting that gpu in another pc if you've the chance and see if it boots up, that should clear up whether it's dead or not.

I agree. Get a 7900x/7700x, a 850w PSU and spend the rest on the gpu.

X670 mobos work with Ryzen 7000 out of the box. But obviously since it's a 7900X3D, you'll need to upgrade the bios as soon as possible to prevent voltage issues.

Nope, you can't. On Corsair's official website's there isn't an LCD version/upgrade kit for the Link series. If you don't mind the extra wires and really want that LCD screen then go with an Elite Capellix XT LCD.

    IMPORTANT EDIT:
As of right now like I said there isn't an LCD version BUT it's planned for later this year. If you buy a Link series you'll be able to upgrade it when the upgrade kit comes out.

If legitimate criticism of how a company's testing methodology resulting in errors is considered an attack, then I'm not sure what else to say besides it not being one.

Here's the thing, if you want to be a lab, and you want to be held to lab standards, then you open your methods and data to scrutiny, which is what GN is doing here. LMG has the ability, and the right to respond to these allegations by re-running the tests to reproduce the data if they want to stand by it, but they aren't. GN's video isn't an attack, it's a flashlight on some of LMG's recent practices that have dubious ethical standings that need to be addressed.

I have a friend who recently bought a 6800 Red devil. I'll update you when he replies

Your best bet is asking someone with the same series as you about this light.

Try doing a clean install of drivers, clean througly the card with compressed air, make sure it's inserted all the way in the pcie slot and check the power connectors for loose connections.
You might also want to try another HDMI/DP cable.
If that doesn't work I'm afraid you'll have to replace it 😞
If you want to not spend much you can buy an used gpu on ebay, they cost a fraction of the cost and work almost identical to the out of the box counterpart (AS LONG AS YOU MAKE SURE THE VENDOR IS RELIABLE! DONT BE AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT HOW THEY USED IT!)

Check if you plugged your gpu in the pcie slot correctly. Make sure the pin made a click and check the power connectors are througly inserted.

I've got an X670E-PLUS from Asus TUF, plugged in just one of the two 8 PIN cpu cables and it works great.
What that extra 4 pin cable does is providing extra power for the cpu in case of overclocking, but as long as you don't plan on doing that then it's fine plugging just one.

If 400 pounds equal to 500 dollars, then I'd say it's ok but there's definetly better if you're willing to go in the used gpu market.
I've seen countless 3080s at 500 dollars on ebay, not used for mining and just used for a year.
So if you dont mind a used GPU, they're definetly a better value but if you strictly want a new one i guess the 3070 ti is an okay deal.

DudeWhatTheN got a reaction from SorryBella in Build Redux Fan controls
By the way, if the fans are plugged into the motherboard (which they probably are since there's no fan controller) you SHOULD be able to set the fan curve from the BIOS, but it's pretty weird they stil spin EVEN when the system is off.

First of all: AM5 processors' max ram speed is 6000Mhz, going past that causes system instability and unless you want to tinker with the voltage and timing settings, I'd suggest going with a 6000Mhz (EXPO certified, please) kit.
Other suggestion: this varies from user to user, but most Asus mobo users (me included) have reported issues with posting and ram compatibility.
This is because their BIOSes right now break some of the compatible rams and you'll need to change some things in the bios to get your system to boot reliably.
I'll drop in my bios settings that I used to stop my system from not posting and the solid DRAM light on the mobo:
EXPO I On FLCK Frequency +2000Mhz Memory Context Restore (in Memory Timings section) to True Memory Context Restore (in AMD CBS section) to true Set the PCIE slot gen from Auto to Gen 4 Obviously it's not guaranteed you'll have these problems but I'm dropping my settings just in case.

It turns the settings on. If you just click on "Add", the rules you set up will just be added to the list of port-forwarding rules, but it's not enabled and thus won't do anything. You need to enable the rule for it to actually do something, which is what the checkbox is for.
