I am a huge fan of LTT and I happen to work on machine learning (in academia).
Later this year, Dec 8th - Dec 14th, one of the biggest academic conference in machine learning, NeurIPS 2019 will be held in Vancouver.

It might be interesting to make a video about it. Although the conference has an academic nature, all the hardware (Nvidia, Intel... ) or the software compaies (Microsoft, Google...) will be there and will demonstrate their latest technologies. Plus, I think it may also be interesting to interview some academics and ask them how the advances of PC hardwares has changed the machine leanring research.
Just an idea.
