yea i dont see it leaking from the side so i thought i was ok but i had a panic attack for a second. i didnt want to destroy my pc i got today lol.

I was so nervous putting my wraith cooler on and the clips would not clip so i was kinda sliding the cpu cooler and now im kind of panicking because is it possible to over smudge the thermal paste. should i take it off and go buy thermal paste and remove the one i smudged. i was not thinking it was not lining up so i pushed it to the right a bit so the clip would go over and did that a few times. I could be over thinking this i am just fucking so nervous, this is only my second pc build.

I am using a Phanteks p400A and my pc is great while running a 3700X and a 5700XT but i was just wondering whether or not a vertical gpu is worth it for the looks, will it greatly effect my thermals? Also what brand should i go for.

Dont care about aesthetics or any just best value gaming pc.

SO if i were to build a pc right now for basically purely gaming with streaming on the side what do you think the best option would be? A Ryzen 5 3600 CPU with a RTX 2080 or a Ryzen 7 3700X with a 5700XT/ 2070 Super. I was just messing around with prices and in australia i can get a Ryzen 7 3700X with a 5700XT for around 2000$ or i can get 3600 with 2080 for around 2000$-2300$ what do you think would be better, obviously the price varies depending on all parts that go with it so if you want too build one too show it being even cheaper id be happy too have a look I new too pc and building and i was intrigued by this due to RTX 2080 being known more and i feel the general audience if given choice would go for the 2080.

So i have in my current PC a 5700XT, 3700X and a B450 TOmahawk Max Motherboard. I just posted about his pc and having a X570 but do you think i would be a better off saving money by using the B450 Tomahawk Max and invest it into another part of should i go for a X570. I kinda wish i got a X570 for future proofing but the more i look into the more i realise you dont really need a lot of the things the X570 offers, the main one is fast storage.

Friend wants a new PC for 2200$. New pc for 2200$ AUD with a 5700 XT and a 3rd gen Ryzen 3700X or maybe 3600X would rather 3700X with X570 (Doesn't really matter but would really like one for future proof). 2200$ before shipping and taxes.

I was going to get the CoolerMaster ML240L AIO as my cooler as well but was advised not too, so i should i get a X570 board and wait till i have more cash for the cooler or just get my original choice.

i think i will just stick with a 700W to some what future proof my build

i did put a similar build on toms hardware and they said too not get 550W due to how close it is to 550W and i would struggle if i want to upgrade.

I was planning and on overclocking my CPU so thats why i had that cooler, and i was kinda struggling to find Sapphire graphics cards from retailers in Australia. Right now with that exact build it will cost me around 2150$ AUD and i would prefer to try and not go that much over 2200$ AUD, i really do appreciate the suggestions. From what i saw i also am pretty sure the 511 is actually not in australia and i would have to pay about 120$ on top on just shipping that.

I am building my first custom PC and i was recommended the Samsung 970 Evo for my SSD, but now that i have looked i found that ADATA is a lot cheaper. For reference i am buying in Australia from PC Case Gear. 970 Evo 500 Gb= 169$ AUD/ ADATA SX8200 512 Gb= 149$ AUD 970 Evo 1Tb= 329$ AUD/ ADATA SX8200 1Tb= 239$ AUD Why is the price gap so large from what i can see is the same thing? I am new to PC parts but is it because Samsung is a bigger brand or are they actually better and should i get the 970 Evo or ADATA SX8200?
