it doesnt work at all, completely dead

the laptop does not operate at all with or without battery/ac. i have removed my data and put it on my main rig but i need my laptop for taking to and from class

I just tried this to no avail. I also tried removing the CMOS battery and jump starting the laptop as well, also with no result.

So I went to boot up my pc which had a paper on it that I was working on for a class, and the pc wouldn't power on. I tried holding the power button for 30 seconds with the battery and charger out with no result. any help would be appreciated because I need this pc for school. A lot of the time when I open chrome, it doesn't launch. The process is shown running in task manager. I've tried ending the process opening chrome again to no avail. The only solution at the moment is restarting, which is not convenient in the middle of class

The WAN show is basically a tech news show that lasts an hour and a half. It's on from 4:30 to 6 PST but is always 15 minutes late . they seem to get distraced on the show a lot andd go off on tangents that are usually hilarious, but they also talk about the past weeks tech news. The chat is pretty crazy and usuually ignored by linus and luke but there are some nice people if you get there early.

i hate to sound stupid but have you tried rebooting? i had this problem and rebooting fixed it
