Thanks a lot buddy. I'm really torn as if my PSU will be ok for the 2080s I'm very tempted to just get the best I possibly can. I've heard the next gen cards are going to be released soon...
I don't mind waiting for the cpu as it's a lot easier to find that money than GPU money

F@H will use CUDA on NVidia or OpenCL on AMD. You could likely run a miner on the Radeon VII and some CPU folding at the same time but you likely won't be able to recoup the cost of the Electricity mining these days.

it only focuses on your CPU cause most of Folding at home GPU tasks are CUDA core accelerated which is in Nvidia GPUs, but you can specify how much power FAH uses, so i would assume there is no problem running both, but i have never tried it, so i cant be certain 

A clean install of windows is usually the quickest solution for software* issues


More than likely some windows 10/driver issue. Otherwise it may just be the memory on the card, could try maxing out the power limit, or cutting it in half to see what happens.

2600 is for workstation and game too.
9400f clearly is mid range workstation since it has no HT. but the extra boost 4.1Ghz will increase gaming performance sigiificantly rather than 2600. since the difference was around 800-900mhz. also since it has no HT, its actually run cooler ( Based on opinoin on LTT
community).
 
check benchmark on youtube. if the difference wasnt big. then go for 2600. double the thread

If you want features like shadow play and stuff then Nvidia 
 
It all depends on what you want because didn't mention which Rx card 
 

Yeah like I'm saying idk what other brands do it but in the market of after market gpus like EVGA etc gigabyte is like the cheap knock off at least how I consider it. 

It's  not an issue with a wireless,  it's  just Logitech for some reason using sh@|t cheap chinese microswitches in their mouses instead of Japanese  omron ones. It's all over internet . Logi  have problems with RMA on mouses because they cheaped out on micros.

Thats right, Gigabyte cant even be compared at the same level, worst thermals,noise etc..
Red Devil and Nitro as the best, I would lean more to Red Devil, has better VRMs, cooling is about the same, Nitro is slightly cooler but a bit more noisier which means if they level the same noise you would probably have the same temps.

They all got federal banned in the United States and by every other airline company. It's apples fault for putting a faulty battery that can blow up when heating in a Mac book

This is al older build of mine, apologies if this is frown upon. But I was inspired to post by the recent LTT video.
 
This is a Mac G5 case that i tried to make as opposite of a G5 as possible.
Flat black powder coat, water-jet cut Windows logo with colored plexi.
 
My build did not retain the factory power cable input, but I installed a similar stlye one of my own up top. I did, however, retain the side panel latch, optical drive.
 
i used a motherboard tray from MountainMods. Some angle aluminum to mount a 240 radiator up front.
 
Apologies, I don't recall the original specs, this was built back in 2011 (the year also explains the complete lack of cable management). I've had 3 builds in it over the years, but it's time to let go. I'm about to build my brother his first gaming rig to celebrate his new house. And since he's a musician/creative type person who likes his mac books, it seems fitting to pass this case on to him.
I'll make sure to add to this post with the updated  pics from that build. It should be way more clean on account of what I've learned over the years, in addition to not being water cooled.

Well yep I am waiting when in 5 years nvidia will find a proper way to say that their gpu is definitely worth 2grand for the basic version
