  1. From what i read a PCIe x1 gen2 is enough for mining, but i can't find more info of this other than the diagram from the manual. I have these mobo left from an old pc of mine, so i was thinking of using it for mining with 2 gpus. would it be posible, should i buy a A75 chipset motherboard, or neither of these will work?
  2. Hi, i tried googling but i couldn't find any information. What is the highest hot spot GPU temperature for a Gainward Phantom GS RTX 3080. My GPU core is running at 70c, but the hot spot is at 92-93c and the VRAM at 96-98c with the fans at 50% so i can sleep and let it mine so i can recoup some money mining when i am not using the pc. If i turn the fans to 75 the hot spot goes down to 84c more or less, just to give an idea. Are these temperatures acceptable? i know they are not ideal, but i just want to know if they are within specs.
  3. Hi, i am looking for a 17" laptop with a rtx 3070 for roughly 2500 euros that i can buy in the EU. I am having trouble finding examples as most of the gaming laptops are in 15". Another thing that i would like to ask is if my notion that a 3080 in a laptop is a bit of a waste as the power limits in most laptops makes it perform as a 3070. Finally, what do you guys think of this list for comparing the TGP of the different gpu in laptops? https://www.notebookcheck.net/Comprehensive-list-of-all-laptops-featuring-the-NVIDIA-GeForce-RTX-3070-Laptop-GPU-along-with-corresponding-TGPs.517805.0.html, is there a more complete list?
  4. i ended up buying this one. what do you think? i have had only good experiences with lenovo, are they still durable?
  5. Hi, i need help choosing a laptop. I currently have a lenovo G470 but after 8 years it's time for a new one. I don't need anything fancy, i mainly use it for university homework and maybe light use of CAD or light gaming (League of Legends or Rainbow 6) on the go as i have a desktop pc. I am mainly looking for a laptop that can last a long time and easily upgradable, and under 600 dollars. I almost forgot to add that it has to be new and available on amazon as i am not from the US and i will be importing it to my country. Any help is appreciated.
  6. How different is it to run Pi Hole in the Raspberry Pi zero w? As buying the Ethernet adapter would be the same as buying the W version. Does anyone know of a tutorial that uses that version?
