I downloaded the new version of Ashampoo HDD controller and my drive has now gone down to 69% health and 48% performance, it says that : But what can it mean by faulty connecting cable, i doubt that that would be the issue as the health of the drive has also dropped...

I purchased a new HDD about 2 weeks ago ( seagate barracuda 2tb) I have put about 60 hours on it according to ashampoo HDD controller and the health and performance has dropped from 95% health, 92% performance to 88% heath and 80% performance overnight. The average temp of the drive is 29 degrees Celsius and I always shut down my computer properly. My main question is what do I do? I don't think that a shop will refund it as it is still in working condition and I don't really want to wait for it to die on me. Thanks in advance, chrisbeva16 BTW: The 1tb drive that is at 98% and 100% currently has 2400hrs on it, the reason why I am worried for such quick deterioration on the new drive

what is wrong with the reference cooler design. I heard they made some minor improvement after the titan making it more efficient?

You could argue that, but how long after the release would it be available for retail purchase? It could be months after, who knows.

wouldn't the 7990 be better for multiple screens as there is more vram? I am going to be running 3 1080p monitors in the near future so this could also determine which card to chose??

The only reason why I need to get a new PC in the next few weeks is that I have just sold my current Rig and am stuck with a horrible laptop. Is it even confirmend when the 9xxx series will be coming out?

Here in Australia I can get a Palit GTX 780 for $770 where as I can get a Hd 7990 for $900. I am going to order my parts for my new build in the next couple of days and this is the last thing to decide. The budget is tight but if the 7990 is really worth the extra money I may consider trying to gather the extra money. Thanks in Advance PS: SLI or crossfire is something that I may consider in the future.

What are the temps like on your laptop? BSOD are a commonly caused by overheating due to Dust buildup as laptops are massive dust traps

I had the same issue with my acer aspire timeline X, in the end they replaced the Motherboard. Luckily it was still under warranty !

Hey guys, I am doing a build for a friend tomorrow and he does not know if his new PSU is compatible with haswell. It is a Thermaltake TR2 Bronze 800w. According to thermaltakes' list of haswell supported PSU's (http://www.thermaltake.com/content.aspx?id=3751) it is not listed so we are a bit concerned. Could anyone please help us determine whether it will work or we should exchange it. Cheers chrisbeva16
