  1. Again, I think you are wildly missing the point - and don't understand what the word 'akin' means.... To copy means to identically recreate. I have only alluded to replicating the general format (i.e. a YT channel/show with 1/2/5/whatever number of people discussing tach and IT related topics). So, of you want to paraphrase me, please do so correctly or ask of that's what I mean rather than assuming - because we all know what to 'assume' does.... Also, its not like they havent had featured guests in the past(albeit, I'll admit, at the behest of LTT themselves and not by request), so its not the strangest thought concieved. And if I was putting it to them, I would do it directly - as I have with other unrelated matters, not on a forum where it can be nonsensically torn apart.... But, as ever, thanks for your opinion.
  2. I think your completely misreading this whole thread and maybe going a tad off track. Based on your post, no one should do anything unless its entirely unique and is not replicated anywhere. I'm sorry to tell you, two people in front of a camera is not a unique format, and that being done for a tech-based audience has also not been a first. There is no harm in seeing a format that works and replicating it with a personalized twist. At no point did I state that I would be looking to imitate or identically replicate WAN show, or create some 'hard hitting, professional' operation - so I think your misjudging things a bit.... As for WAN show and their 'issues' (as you put it), they are well able to defend themselves if they choose to without need for me to explore my opinion on it.
  3. Not really. The feedback would be from members of this forum that are based in the European/EMEA area giving an indication on whether there would be an appetite for something akin to LTT for our timezone(s). WAN show gets hits from people in Europe as I see the superchats on YouTube - but it's generally the same "watching here in blah at 2/3 a.m. etc etc" comment. There are other channels here like Mr. Vestek who are similar, but not quite the same take. As for the featuring part, as I already stated, I (as I'm sure many others) would love to participate in the show at a more active level than 'pay per comment'. With nearly 20 years of both professional and semi-pro IT background to fall back on (whilst not being a massive modder or gamer), I can see opportunity for discussion from a different angle on most articles covered. Hey, you never know, maybe WAN show will spawn a new show that would be a modern take on the old 'call in' radio shows that used to be big. But, as always, thanks for the opinion.
  4. Thanks for commenting. I get what your saying, and that's why I posted here. As per the last line of the OP, I want feedback from users here - and if it's seen by LTT staff, that's a bonus! First part is the 'pie in the sky' wish, second part of to see if enough of you wonderful people are on this side of the globe to watch it!! As the large corporation says, "When you wish upon a star.... "
  5. I know there is probably 5 million of these already, and as such I expect zero response from the necessary peeps, but I really want to open a conversation with the guys in LTT(primarily el honcho himself). I'm considering starting a channel myself here in Ireland and would be open to doing a couple of intro sessions/contributor streams on WAN show etc to see if there is market appeal. Would love to hear feedback.
