  1. What's your budget, what are you using the PC for and which parts do you already have?
  2. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/TW99j2 you chose probably the best GPU given the circumstances: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0881YZJ45?th=1&linkCode=gs2&tag=pcp0f-21 This makes it about $1030 I chose that mobo as it supports your USB type C front panel header on the case I chose a more powerful CPU and cooler, and a more reliable PSU 500GB SSD is not enough, 1TB is essential The case is a good choice, although it is quite expensive, you want your case to last the longest out of all your components so it can support any future upgrades.
  3. Good CPU choice, but I would say go for a better motherboard as the gigabyte one you listed is very low end and not necessarily future proof. Instead, I would go with something like this: Gigabyte B550M DS3H Micro ATX - very similar name but is b550 (so you can upgrade to a 5000 series Ryzen if you want) and it also has much better VRM cooling and features. However If you can spend a bit more, I would go with the MSI B550-A-PRO as it is ATX (so will fill up your case - the microATX one will look a bit strange) and is slightly better in every way. RAM looks good too - If you don't have an SSD for your operating system and freq. used files, this would be a priority - such as WD Blue SN550 500GB M.2 NVME SSD
  4. Yes - just downdated to windows 10 and it works great! Thanks for your help!!!!
  5. The 2060 on there at 1440p extreme managed 15 fps higher than mine on medium… I will try DDU, reinstalling forza and downgrading to windows 10 to see if that affects it just very annoying after paying a lot of money for a game, it doesn’t work perfectly out of the box
  6. One more thing for now, i tried benchmark mode, and it played it through at high settings at about 90 fps… but as soon as I try and play it seems to be locked at 32fps at high, medium and low settings. Sometimes it goes uo to 60 or 90 and then back down, but it feels like the game is slowing and speeding up constantly, until it levels off at 32
  7. OK, cant remember if I turned of VSYNC - i will try those tomorrow and let you know if it works. Thanks for the help
  8. OK, for some reason now setting it to low doesn't do much... it almost seems as if RTX is on, even tho it isn't. Is it worth downgrading to Windows 10 again to see what happens?
  9. It has just gone back down to 20fps... even with ray tracing off! Edit: it went up to 90, then down to 20 after about 5 secs
  10. You were right! I have just turned it up to high and turned off ray tracing and now works fine, lets hope it continues to
  11. corsair vengeance 16gb 3200mhz c16 But running them at 2933 or something MHz as 3200 was causing stability issues
  12. Just done that, doesn't seem to have fixed the issue... one other thing - my GPU usage is only about 10%, so is not being utilised at all
  13. Hi, I have recently installed FH5, and have found after I enter the game, when driving and in the menus, my FPS averages about 3-5 (medium settings). It may start going at higher for a brief period of time (1-2mins) and then go back down again. I have also recently installed windows 11 (and have an AMD chip) so have updated chipset drivers to the newest ones. This and a restart hasn't fixed any issues. I have a Ryzen 5 2600 & RTX 2060, so it should not struggle to run it, even at high settings. Any ideas on why this is happening and how I can fix it?! Thanks
  14. bit harsh but i suppose I agree.. if you are going to spend that money on a gaming PC, I would get one of those 1650s
  15. the cpu should come with one, but its not very good - it will get the job done though. If you want a better one then I recommend either of these: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition be quiet! Pure Rock 2 Black
  16. I would upgrade other components of your system first, before the GPU, as the CPU is probably the bottleneck. Also, playing those games at 1600x900 - 75Hz (assuming the monitor is that resolution) then that would also be a limiting factor. If you upgraded the CPU, you would need to upgrade your motherboard and RAM too - and your PSU depending on what the wattage is of your current one? This is what I would recommend with the information I have. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/G2p4Wb you could also go AMD, with a 3300x (or 3600 but that is very overpriced in the US - but £170 in UK) If your monitor is only 1600x900, then consider upgrading to something like this: ASUS TUF Gaming 1080p 144hz monitor
  17. Here is my recommendation, your list was pretty good, but I have made a few changes. (sorry in advance for the long reply) https://pcpartpicker.com/list/cnxgGq I changed the SSD to one which is just as fast, but $30 cheaper. I also changed the power supply - that EVGA one is decent for lower end systems, but for your budget and parts, I have chosen a slightly more efficient and reliable one. Answers for your questions: The main two options you could chose between are the 3700x, 5600x, 10700 (k,kf,f, and all of Intels stupid names for various i7 models) If you are gaming too, then the 10700kf is your best bet due to its superior single core performance (compared to the 3700x) But, if you are just video editing, then the 3700X is a better bet as it is slightly cheaper (iirc) and still performs very similar in premiere to an i7. The 5600X wouldn't be the best as it has less cores (6 compared to 8 on the i7/R7). For WiFI, you might as well just buy a dongle. I have one as a backup incase ethernet stops working and it works great. Graphics Cards are important! Despite what some people might say. AMD is out of the question as Nvidia's NVenc encoder is very much superior on every level to AMD's equivalent. I assume you are a follower of Linus, so you presumably know about the current GPU situation.. The 1050ti listed is overpriced, but not by as much as many other cards. It may be a decent option for now, but the GPU memory size and bandwidth may effect it. Ideally you could have a card with 6-8GB VRAM, but 4 is probably fine. I would say your options are to wait and get something like a 3060 or 3060ti when they get down to near MSRP (I know you are probably fed up with hearing that) or go for the 1050ti which will do a decent job. Also, your storage layout seems good to me.
  18. I put a capital X instead of lower case.. this looks a bit more normal! https://pcpartpicker.com/list/X7dbbh edit: seems I am a bit late to the party
  19. I am giving two options (Intel & AMD) incase you have a preference. - your country would be helpful to check prices. AMD: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PnV3Dx CPU: Ryzen 3 3300X - I would have picked the 3600, but is overpriced in the US, but at a decent price in the UK, so get it if it is under $200. Even the 3300X will definitely eliminate any bottleneck with your 1050ti and should be decent for a new one too. Mobo: AsRock B550M Pro4 - This is a mATX mobo, so if you have an ATX case, consider something like the MSI B550 A-Pro. Anyway, the listed motherboard has all the features you need and supports the 3300X or 3600 out of the box. RAM: T-Force Vulcan 16GB DDR4 3200MHz - 16GB RAM is great (but you probably have DDR3 rn with that CPU so this will be a good step up. Why this certain kit? Well it is just the cheapest one with those specs. Intel: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/G2p4Wb CPU: i5 10400F - this is a solid 6 core processor, and for not more than the 3300X, has 2 extra cores and will probably perform better in those games you listed. Mobo: AsRock B460M Steel Legend - good motherboard with all features you need and supports your CPU. RAM: Same RAM as AMD one. I would recommend the intel one for now, until the 3600 becomes a reasonable price... unless you live in the UK where it is £170.
  20. Looks fairly good, however if you are planning to use the stock air cooler with this PC, the H510 may not be the best option as the airflow is limited. I would also use an ATX board as a microATX board will look weird in an ATX case. One more thing, if you plan to use a 30 series card, I would go with a 750w psu as those cards can pull a lot of power. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Pfmp68
  21. Hi, trying to help my dad get onto this website: www.milkandmore.co.uk It comes up with this error (photo below) I have tried everything: Disabling antivirus, updating the pc, different browsers: chrome, edge, firefox. Clearing cache, clearing cookies etc. Still no luck getting onto the website. Any help would be appreciated!

  23. I would recommend something like this. The upgraded CPU will benefit your 3d modelling. Also, the 360mm AIO is unnecessary for this CPU. So i would go with an air cooler like the dark rock 4 or if you are set on a water cooler, then a 240mm one will be plenty. 24. Does that include the space bar? Also, One more question. Because the keycaps will be adding a lot of money to the cost of the keyboard, would buying the keyboard used be a worthy option?? Or is that not recommended.
