So basically this is the best place I could think of to figure this issue out. I recently got an older CyberPower build that was missing a graphics card. I was able to pick up a 980 locally for $100 new.
However, the PSU that came with the machine is a 850w Cooler Master Silent Pro that only has 6pin connectors for PCIe. Is there a way I can keep my current PSU and run the graphics card? Keep in mind I don't have any of the original PSU adapters so any suggestions please let me know where I could buy anything I need too. Trying to stay cheap which is why I'm not replacing the PSU right now.
I appreciate any help!
EDIT: Wanted to add the GPU has two 8pin connectors and I have about 6 6pin slots on the PSU.
