Find out the psu model. 800w is either something ancient or crap 2 things that are a disaster with a 3080

For seemingly random crashing under load, I'd suspect the PSU.

Just putting it out there as another option if it's feasible...

Find the ends of the telephone cable inside the wall plates. If you have no use for the cable and the ends are in locations for router and PC hookup, simply use it to fish Cat5e or Cat6 cable through the same walls. Change the wall plates at both ends and connect your router/PC.

Some in-wall cable installations might tack cables to studs, so the above suggestion won't work.

what is your wifi setup? what wireless router, what pc/laptop you are running? how many walls are between the router and pc? are you experiencing drops or just slow wifi?

if you have access to your breaker panel, you could try switching off the power to one of the rooms and see if the other also turns off. otherwise hardware stores tend to carry circut tracing devices if you feel like going that way.

im going to add on to my previous statements about powerline adapters. staying on the same circut isnt actually necessary, but is the best option. some breaker panels have filtering between circuts, which could interfere with the adapters. generally if youre on the same main feed (say in same house) they have a possibility of working no matter the circut, but performance can be quite degraded. usually about 1/4 the speed you are expecting, or about the same speed as wifi would be.

How far away from your router is your pc? you could just run a long Cat 6 Ethernet cable from the router to your pc.

Just so you know, Rj-25 is a telephone connector used for wired telephones. It does not have any capability to transfer wired internet over ethernet. For example, RJ11, RJ14, and RJ25 are the most commonly used interfaces for telephone connections for one-, two-, and three-line service, respectively. Although these standards are legal definitions in the United States, some interfaces are used worldwide. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Registered_jack)

Powerline adapters definitely work, i used to use them. but they definitely have a performance and reliability drop. The biggest thing to think about when using them is the circuts in the house. Many rooms are on different circuts, and therefore the powerline adapters will not work. Your data is also having to fight with the noise of just your houses electricity.

I dont have any experience with Moca, though there was the LTT video about it. It definitely would be more reliable and faster since its on a dedicated wire away from electricity, however coax is still only 1 wire. normal Cat 6 ethernet cable is 8 wires (4 twisted pairs)

Before you continue, check your circuts in your house and make sure that the same circut runs from your router to pc. Your best bet would just be to run a really long cable, though again im not sure how far your router is from your pc.

one very quick thing you can do is short the pins on the motherboard. this can eliminate the button because all it does is complete the circut between pins when touched. if youre careful and touch the right pins with a screwdriver it will turn on the same as normal

I mean if you are on 1080p, those cache do get used.
But yeah that would be a stretch on either version of your board, you will need to crank down the PBO undervolt on it to avoid current throttling and 5800X3D is not a very happy boy when you play around with the voltages. So that leaves us with the option to strap in a bunch of 80mm fans on it to calm the VRM temperatures. I agree with 5600X or 5700X, that should still run easily on your board.

thats still less than 10tb of storage. even if you were 100% max on storage, youd still have some extra storage to tide you over till you get more drives later. at the end of it though, its your money and choice. i havent heard much if ID cooling or silicon power stuff, but of what i have heard they arent the best. going with more reputable brands have less of a chance to leave you in trouble. especially the ram since its pretty easy to corrupt data and your windows install if the ram fails

Depends what pricing and the used market is like where you live. You'd have to do a fair amount of research to figure that all out.
Or, see how much it'd cost to get them imported...see below.
You can, however then you have to pay:
Shipping Duty Tax Brokerage So it's not a 1:1 value no matter how you get the parts.

future proof really isnt a thing in pc building, but to that notion all of these builds should be powerful enough to not need upgrading for a while.

the 13th gen intel build is the newest of them all, but in terms of relative power
    1. Ryzen build
    2. Intel i5 11th gen build
    3. intel i3 13th gen build
i also definitely agree with this. our markets are quite different and we will have different access to stores. besides ive found much better budget options going with the used market than buying brand new.

I agree 32GB makes sense, I'm often above 15GB Ram usage. Depends if your tidy or not.
I disagree about igpu being redundant. I think it's an asset.
Do you have a spare tyre in your car ?
But the 5600G has less cache and is only PCIe Gen 3. So the 5600 is indeed a good alternative.
I'd rather go (little) slower 2TB then (little) faster 1TB
I think you can do better than that mb, DVI ? I like the Asrock Steel Legend for example

looked that model up, its a Ryzen 7 4980u. the 12400f is more powerful than that chip, and you have flexibility and a gpu. parts list looks good, just go with a better power supply brand

build looks quite well balanced honestly, although id go with a more reputable power supply brand like silverstone. thats just one area you wont want to mess with.
honestly it wouldnt matter. the only newer chips that would beat that desktop chip either have no gpu or are more expensive than $700

holy crap just posting real fast to say DO NOT USE 1.8 VOLTS!!!! you will fry something. drop it to like a max of 1.4 for now. im formulating a longer and better response. just set docp, leave the actual manual frequency and everything else to auto. the docp is supposed to auto apply all the settings you need. if it still fails to boot, loosen the primary timings. this would look like going from 18-18-18-18-36 to like 20-20-20-20-38

You get a name brand because you want to be sure it can deliver what it says. (80 plus bronze matters nothing tho)

I'd bet something is triggering protections on the PSU.  Had a 1080Ti that had a voltage module go back and only in Ark did it trigger the PSU to do exactly as you say.

On the other side, it may be the PSU failing slightly but I am unsure if a PSU can fail like that to be more sensitive and not outright fail.

Honestly, this list looks pretty good. only thing i would change is to probably stay away from the 7800x3d for now. they have had some issues of burning up recently, and i dont think we have 100% knocked that out yet. adding onto that, the extra cache is really only helpful in some games, wouldnt be that much help with AI. you might like the higher clock speeds of the 7800x instead

as said already, having more than one program running splits resources. this can cause stutters and fps drops, even just watching youtube. this is why you often see steamers build smaller, semi cheaper computers simply to stream the game on the main pc.

if the stutters are a big enough issue, build another pc
