i have multi users on my pc but the only problem is that when me and the wife want to play a game together we cant because its either me logged in or she is but we would like to play together because we both play warzone together

i am still learning ubuntu and i have not been able to get pop-os or mint-os to install on my Vm for some reason so i went with windows. because i was trying to make it so me and my wife could play some games with out having to buy another computer.. kind of like the his and hers pc Linus did on LTT but i remember that he had problems with ryzen getting everything to work is that the same problem i am having ?

hey all so i am trying to get a Vm Running using my ryzen R5 3600 and my 1660 Super and for some reason i am not able to find or see the PCIE settings on my Vm i am running the latest version of Oracle VM and i have the extension installed for usb and nvme but i cant find where i need to install or update for the pcie extension any help would be great Thank you in advance

So with him not being able to go hang out with friends and only being able to talk with friends online and they are all playing a game he dont have and I always tell him once i pay the bills then I will see what we have left over to maybe get you the game and by then his friends have already moved games and I have already got him that game he wanted and now he wants game B and its already past time for refund on game A so I tell him it would be 2 weeks before I can get him the new game and I do want to think everyone for there positive comments on here alot better then the Facebook group for LTT fans where some of them are saying that I should smash his computer or extreme Disaplan and i am about to delete the post on there because there is some good comments but there are alot of negative comments as well

You know I never thought of that because at that point then anything he does would need my account information to access or install but then again wouldn't that stop him from playing his games

he has about 15 games installed to his main drive and when i went and looked tonight I found 10 more on his back up drive

Yeah sounds like me as well and I mean he is a great kid and super smart he even figured out how to bypass the complete lock out i did. Y changing his password and log in pin by using his authentication code on his phone

so my 12year old has been going to a site called steam unlocked and downloading games from there and I have asked him repeatedly not to do thing like that and yet he keeps doing it.. yeah I grew up in the time of Napster and diel up internet but I have learned about network and internet security and so i am trying to figure out a way to block him from these sites i have even tried to set his account as a standard user and mine as admin and he still gets around any block I have in place he is a very smart kid and has alot of talent but I am trying to teach him about online safety and how not all sites are as they seem so please anyone with any advice please help..... useful information wanted thank you all

I have decided that I will sell the older one and I found a 2015 macbook at are local pawn shop for only 100$ and I am going to buy my wife that one. And I will load up bootcamp and sideload windows 10 on it because my kids play some games on windows that wont install on a mac because of the .exe file but I want to thank all of you for your advice and help though all of this

Yeah I tried cmd + R and there was no recovery on it at all and I have been working on this computer now for 3 weeks trying to learn how it works and how to fix it that's also why I turned to the tech influencers and the vast community that it has tha you all for your help today

Yeah so I want to thank all of you for being so nice and trying to help me I have been watching LTT for years now linus has helped me with some of the problems i have had and I have always hear them talking about the forum and so I finally joined and it was the best thing I could have done so again thank you all

Yeah that's what I thought about doing and just put on it that it works but needs a fresh install of mac os correct

I think it was CMD+s and we also tried just holding shift to boot in to safe mode and all I could do it just reboot the system I dont know much or at all about mac's I have been doing alot of research on this power mac and how to get past the please reboot screen that I posted with the main post
