that last part seems awfully boomer of you

I'm sure 1440p wouldn't cut margins for most laptops to be "unprofitable". If a 6 year old I5 with IGPU can run a 1440p display i'm certain an I7 8750h can too.

yeah, but when it comes to the screens especially it feels like it's taken way way too long for laptops to adopt a similarly good screen.

The only games I even play are Fortnite and CSGO. A 2014 iMac with like a 290x wouldn't have trouble with either even in MacOSX. I like Windows, I grew up using windows and now at 16 is the first time i've ever used MacOS. And I can legitimately say I support Apple, because a 6 year old Late 2013 Macbook Pro is the best computer i've ever used, out of about 7 desktops and 3 or 4 laptops, it's the best in the hardware like the trackpad, screen, keyboard, and in software.

I could list it as a quad core I5 and most people won't think to ask any difference between a 4460 and a 8400. It still performs well though, I mean last year we saw even older CPUs being adopted like the Q9550 and I5 2400 by budget gamers.

Apologies, I read PSU as PS4 In that case, I'd be contacting HP for warranty repair, or if no longer in warranty, replacing the PSU to start with.

It's an HP RP5800
Yeah, the PSU has been through hell while the PC was disassembled. A replacement cooler + PSU would be about $25 so no big deal

With the whole new workshop, and 30 employees, why not just become a System Integrator? They have the resources to make custom PCs with custom branding, and could probably charge a bit of a surplus. Maybe just make cases?

Subscriber count matters not.
For the average view count per video never seems to exceed 1.5M (mostly around 1m, sometimes as low as 500k)
But it doesn't matter tbh.
Remember, this community is very much tipped towards the "Build it yourself and be proud of it" side.
It's extremly expensive to run
it's a pain in the ass to have to deal with [This community's level of kid-telligeance] and the subsequent problems & returns & other kind of stupid crap these companies have to deal with.

If I had to guess, the Ethernet would be iffy, wireless almost certainly wouldn't work, audio could be iffy, and the R7 should work easily.
My advice though is just to head over to tonymacx86 (conveniently linked to the desktops section where you'd post this question) and ask there. They'll likely be able to help you a hell of a lot better than most people here.

If i were in that situation i would go for the GTX 660. The X6 1045t is not that much of an improvement over the X4.

The 660 would be the much bigger upgrade, that would be a better buy.
