  1. Ok, The max I can go for is Core i7-9700K and SSD will remain what i mentioned and there will be more ram eventually.
  2. Thanks for the input, many softwares are GPU dependent, but CPU selection is important. Core i5 9600K costs me $270 and Core i7-9700K costs me $420.
  3. Lumion 9.0.2, Sketch Up Desgin, AutoDesk 3DS Max, Rhino, Auto CAD, Twinmotion and Photoshop like programs.
  4. Thanks for the input. I searched online for the information for which software which hardware is desirable. All these software are hungry for best of the best and so me getting a NVIDIA TITAN GPU will not be enough for the software, my only reason to start this topic on this forum was to get the guidance if Core i5-9600K will be enough even in the case of heavy software that mostly rely on better gpu such as Lumion, 3Ds Max and so on. On the other hand, there are few software which utilize the cores of the cpu. For the GPU I am getting RTX 2060 and sticking to it.
  5. Any input is appreciated. Core i5-9600K costs me around $270 and Core i7-9600K costs me around $420. Is it worh to push for these extra 3600 threads. I am technically not on budget extra money seems for another CPU seems point less if I can get work done with Core i5- 9600K. Please let me know.
  6. Dear all, I am building a new PC from scratch for myself as an architect. Here are the specs : CPU: Core i5-9600K or Core i7- 9600K COOLER: Thermaltake Riing Silent 12 Red 53 CFM MOTHERBOARD: Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 BOOT DRIVE: Samsung 970 Evo Plus (500 GB) SECONDARY DRIVES: Seagate Barracuda 2 TB (2 DRIVES) GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB VENTUS XS OC CASE: NZXT Noctis 450 (ROG EDITION) POWER SUPPLY : Cooler Master MWE Gold 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular. Its a beefy list !! My initial decision was to get Core i5-9600K but do i really need to push for Core i7-9600K or not. My main use for this PC will be mostly for work but i might do some casual gaming once in a while (Rocket League) if i have time between projects, ?
  7. Thanks for the reply, May be i will wait for laptop and not upgrade anything on this pc, only thing to play in free time is "flash games", lol
  8. Dear All, I was have been given a temporary fix for my office setup until i get my laptop, (Lenovo Thinkbook 15). The following are the specs onboard this Dell Optiplex 380: Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 clocked at 2.80 GHz Motherboard: Dell Inc. 0HN7XN A01 Chipset: Northbridge : Intel G41 / Southbridge : Intel 82801GB (ICH7/R) Memory: 4 GB total memory type DDR3 (1066Mhz) Graphics card: Intel(R) G41 Express Chipset (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1) Harddrive: 250 GB SATA II SO I THE RAM SEEMS OK SINCE ALL OF THEM ARE POPULATED BUT I MIGHT HAVE AN SSD INSTALLED IN THE SYSTEM (2.5 INCH SATA). ALSO MY OTHER QUERY IS IF I CAN ADD A GRAPHIC CARD TO THIS SYSTEM LIKE "Sapphire Radeon R7 250" OR SOMETHING ALONG THE LINE.
  9. I have thought of having RX 570, still not sure on the bottleneck situation but I have SSD as a boot drive so I should be fine
  10. GTX 1050ti is not my best choice but I only picked out just to be on the safe side if there were any bottleneck issues. Having said that, which graphic card should I go for in my situation, since changing my CPU is not an option at the moment.
  11. Thats good to hear, My only other question is which Graphic card should i get with this CPU?
  12. Dear All, I am planning to build an a budget PC with these parts: Intel Core i5 - 4570 MSI Z97S Krait Edition Corsair DDR3 (2 x 8GB) 1600 MHz Seagate Barracuda 1 TB - HDD Adata 256 GB - SSD (Boot Drive) Corsair VS 450W (80 +) GTX 1050ti NZXT S340 Case My question is, since the Cpu is old, will there be bottlenecks with GTX 1050ti or it will be fine.
  13. Dear all, I looking to buy small GPU, usually I smallest I have scene in the market are GT 1030 OR RX 550. But as I was searching I came across GT 710/730. Does anyone know what application can these cards support?
