  1. Thank you very much! I will definitely look into this.
  2. Most of the music I play is either from my internal phone storage or spotify so controlling spotify from the smartwatch is something I would like to be able to do.
  3. Oh I didn't know that, that is great news I will be on the look out for that. Thank you!
  4. As the title implies I am currently looking for a smartwatch. As most of the people around me have started wearing smartwatches, I found a new interest in wanting to have one as well. Looking at all the variety that is out there it is hard to decide which is the best my case specifically, especially since I only recently really got into computers and tech related stuff, so still being on the learning curve of things. I basically want a smartwatch, that can run basic apps like music, display my messages, maybe take calls from it instead of having to pick up my phone, calender and that kind of stuff. The apple watch for example has all the functions that I would love to have for a smartwatch. However seeing as this doesn't work on android, I am looking for a good android smartwatch that has the same functionality. In case this makes a difference I am currently using a Samsung S8 as main phone, with a secondary Moto Z3 Play, the smartwatch will probably only be used along with my S8 and not the Z3. I am looking into possibly getting a newer Samsung phone in the future, so no going back to apple for me on this front. The max I am willing to pay for a smartwatch is up to €300,- ($370). I hope you guys can help me, as I have just been aimlessly looking at different smartwatches,w ithout really knowing what I need and I am looking for. Thanks in advance. P.S. if this is the wrong place to post this I would love to hear it and I will remove it and move it to the appropriate forum.
  5. I sincerely doubt that this falls in the 400 euro category, since Herman Miller is a very expensive brand and unlike in America here in the Netherlands almost no companies have these type of chairs, so there is also no possiblitiy of getting them for cheap(er).
  6. As the title suggests I am looking for a good chair that I can spend long period of time per day on. I am currently finishing up my masters and will soon be starting work as an architect, it is not uncommon for me to make longer days or after work to do some gaming. I can easily sit for 14 hours a day behind my computer. Because of this my current chair, some cheap Ikea office chair, has started to fail on me after great service of nearly 5 years. I have been looking at several different types, but can't quite make up my mind on what would be the best to get. I have been looking at the Ergochair 2, Secretlab Titan and the cheaper option Ikea Markus. The decision between an office, ergo or gaming chair (in this case only the secretlab applies) is very hard seeing as I get mixed reviews and info from my friends. Having said all that my max budget would be 400 euro's. As for specifics about my height and weight, because these seem to influence the choice for a chair heavily. I am 1,80 m and weigh around 90kg (thank you Covid -.-), I am however trying to pick up my daily exercise routines again and hoping to soon be back to the 80 kg mark. Other than this I am from the Netherlands, so being able to buy a chair that has a warranty and ofcourse not hundreds of euros of shipping to here would be what I aim for. Meaning that some of the amazon chairs that are popular in America and Canada are not available here / not an option. If you have any recommendations for a chair please let me know, and please also disclose why you think it is better. Non-answers like gaming chairs suck, without reasoning I will just plainly ignore. Thanks in advance for you guys' help. - Dylan
  7. Thanks for the replies. I guess I'll just have to look a bit further into it I guess. I just don't understand why the newer gen of logitech (like g635/g935) don't have dolby anymore which makes my choices so much harder. Anyways time to spent another evening look through headsets.
  8. A few days ago my Logitech g633 headsets mic just died on me with no way of it being repaired. Due to this unfortunate incident I am in the market for a new headset. I normally just pick up something that I have experience with but this was my first real "expensive" headset and I don't really know what to look for anymore. My current headset used dolby 7.1 which I really liked (even over dts, but that is just my preference) and I would like to find something similar. Only to be very disappointed that almost all headsets only have dts x 2.0 or just stereo, with questionable reviews on them. So hereby my question is there a really good brand or headset that you guys recommend under €150. I really want a new headset so that I can atleast talk to my friends again. Headsets I have looked at: > Logitech g635/g935 (next version of my current onw) > Steelseries artis 5/7/pro > Plantronics RIG > Corsair Void RGB Pro (but in my opinion doesnt have the best mic) > Hyperx Cloud/Alpha/Revolver s (and some things that are overpriced imo like ROG fusion, ROG delta, alienware etc.) Thank you in advance for all the help. P.S. Yes I have looked at modmic, but because my mic gave in I am afraid that my headsets audio will fail soon enough too and those mics are pretty expensive. That is why I am looking for a whole new headset.
  9. Thank you very much for your replies. I got a little busy with school starting again and having to put more time and effort in it, so sorry for this late response. I appreciate all the help you guys have given me and i'll look more into it.
  10. As mentioned in the title I am planning on building my first ever own system. Currently i am having a little trouble deciding what I want in the system because I will generally use it for gaming and some light/medium 3D modelling/rendering and photoshop. A friend of mine has helped me a bit with getting a list of components for the build, but I am unsure if this is really the best I can get for my money. I live in the Netherlands and the parts here a bit more expensive here than in America. My budget is €1800 for the pc, all the other peripherals I already own, so no need for those. As mentioned above I will most likely use this pc for gaming and schoolwork, my current setup is a 144hz 1080p monitor, but I planning to replace that one with 2 144hz 1440p in the future. I made my build on a site called Azerty (if you live in the EU this will most likely be recognizable). Here are 2 examples of what I with the help of my friend put together. Would love your opinion and/or tips on these builds. Also have no clue as to what the real difference is between ryzen and intel, or if there really is a difference for my purposes with the computer. Thanks in advance. (For those who are interested I am currently gaming and working on a laptop I bought 2-2,5 years ago. I dont find it outdated at all but it can't run everything as smooth as I would like XD. It's a Medion Erazer x7853. link: https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/903633/medion-erazer-x7853-md60603-nl/specificaties/)
