I know this post is long, but please help me and I may pay you (seriously)
For context, this is my build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/V4rcZR
So, let's start from the beginning. I started build back in fall 2018 and I was super excited to start playing on this monster. The game I primarily play is overwatch ( yes, it's overkill, sue me). Anyway, a friend of mine helped me put the PC together and overclock the cpu and gpu and has been helping me through this stressful experience. We initially got the cpu stable at 5.2 ghz (with XMP on) while keeping the voltages under 1.35 and it withstood prime95 and furmark with good thermals and the gpu was overclocked (I forgot the values) through MSI Afterburner and did well through MSI kombustion (good thermals no artifacting etc.), so we left it and called it a success. Soon after I started encountering issues while streaming Overwatch on all low settings such as my mouse disappearing, my mouse doubling, low frames(180-200), input lag crashes, etc. when I would tab out. So, we lowered the cpu overclock to 5.1 ghz and got it stable. Then I got my second monitor (the 4k one) and started encountering the same issues yet slightly different (mouse doubling and looking like it does when you go over text and getting stuck like that), so we went down to 5.0 ghz and got it stable but had issues after a couple weeks. So, we RMAed the GPU (because we thought that might be the issue) and tried again. We overclocked the cpu to 5.0 ghz (Vcore: 1.315V, DDR volts: 1.35V) and still had issues soon after, so we thought maybe the motherboard.cpu doesn't like that my ram is set to 3466 which is its advertised speed. So, on friday (2 days ago) I ran a buttload of 3mark and cinemark tests with my ram speed at 3466 and with it at 3200 and with XMP off and on and redid my gpu over clock. I ended up with it appearing to be stable at: (5.0 GHZ, Vcore: 1.315V, DDR volts: 1.36V, RAM speed:3200mhz, gpu overclock: core clock 129mhz and memory clock 499mhz, power limit: 123, temp limit: 88 C, Fan speed: 100). The scores I got are (timespy: 14302, Firestrike Ultra: 8696, and cinebench: 4902) with no crashes on any test and no artifacting in msi kombustion. I went and streamed overwatch and got 300 frames (overwatch's limit) with no input lag while streaming and was rejoiced that this year-long nightmare was finally over. I then moved my PC to my new apt. at school and downloaded the new Nvidia Game Ready driver and then streamed overwatch and was only getting about 200-240 frames on all low settings. While I cried, I double checked all the settings and ran cinebench in which i crashed then got a score of
4821 then ran timespy and got a score of 14150 and crashed in firestrike ultra. I'm desperate at this point and would love anyone who helps me until the rest of time. Thanks
