I went to Linux about a month ago. On windows I also used foobar2000, and the Linux program I've found most like it is DeaDBeeF.
I like it better than the popular Linux music players, and its also easier to set it up for bit perfect playback than the others. The only drawback is you have to go outside the software repository to get it. It's a tad more complicated to install something that isn't in the repository, but if you're smart enough to install an OS, then you're smart enough to figure it out.
Disclaimer: the last time I used a forum was like 8-10 years ago, so pardon my ignorance on the ettiquete. Also, I'm Brazilian, so pardon my english.
So here is the deal, I want an upgrade. The question is do I need an upgrade. My current graphics card is a 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 (Gigabyte). The card is lovely, totally crushed my expectations. However, I feel like burning some money . There's a catch of course: as stated in the disclaimer, I'm Brazilian, so availability is a HUGE problem. The options are indeed few. But first, to help you help me, I would to say my likings and what I pretend to do with the upgrade card, if I get one of course.
At the moment, I do 60fps 1080p without many problems. I can play almost everything on high-ultra with no AA or little AA. I'm not counting Watch_dogs of course because that was a shitty port. But Dota 2, League of Legends, Metro Last Light, Sleeping DogsTM and some heavily modded Skyrim run absolutely fine. What I want to start doing now is 120fps/144fps 1080p gaming. My current card does not have a display port, so right now that a no go.
So finally these are my options, my only options. Let that be very clear, if it's not here than I can't have it, that's it. I would love better deals, but it's impossible.
