  1. I ended up fixing it by reinstalling windows. I’m pretty sure that something was wrong with the drivers, and with the pc shutting off during a reset that just sent that installation of windows overboard. After reinstalling windows I saw that it was using dual boot so I tried to boot my old windows installation to confirm my suspicions. The new one works perfectly while the old one puts the system on a boot loop. Not sure if this is fixed permanently but I’ll definitely come back if this issue returns. Thanks for all your help LIGISTIX and svmlegacy.
  2. No I don’t know anyone else who owns a desktop. My pc got shut off during a reset though, so maybe that’s the cause for the boot loop?
  3. Alright I’ve updated BIOS, now using the latest version, but the boot loop is still happening when I save and exit in BIOS
  4. Found the jumpers and reset the mobo. It’s using BIOS ver. 0602
  5. The pc is no longer booting so I can’t access BIOS. The VGA light remains on and keeps restarting. I think it’s a boot loop?
  6. I built this pc almost a year ago and it did give some trouble at first although that was a RAM related issue. I continued to use the pc for maybe a month or two before it started acting up. I started getting “CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION” errors. Whenever this happened I would restart my pc and it would be fine, that is until it randomly blue screened(sometimes large spaces of time between blue screens) to “CRITICAL_STUCTURE_CORRUPTION” again, I would restart and the process would rinse and repeat. Finally, today the pc got worse. The motherboard troubleshooting buzzer, beeped one long and three short, I looked up what this meant and it meant that there was “an anomaly detected in the graphics card” (once the beeps started the pc also started taking longer to start up). After doing some more research I found out that it could be a problem with the drivers and so I decided to reset windows 10 to see if that would help. It made it worse, much worse. The pc no longer boots to windows 10, however I am still getting the beep code. What can I do to resolve this issue? Any help is appreciated. My specs are: Windows 10 Home 64 bit ASUS PRIME X570-PRO (UEFI BIOS i'm unsure of what version) CORSAIR VENGEANCE LED 16GB(2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz C16 Desktop Memory AMD RYZEN 7 3800X (At stock speeds) Zotac RTX 2070 Super 3TB Hitachi Ultrastar SATA Hard Drive EVGA Supernova 750 G+ (750W 80+ Gold)
  7. So anything on this list would definitely be compatible with the mobo then?
  8. Over the past couple of days I've been building my first PC. When I first put everything together I was having RAM issues, and after consulting a couple of friends who'd done this before they told me I had a defective RAM stick. After a couple more tries (using only 1 8GB RAM stick) I booted the PC to BIOS for the first time. It went alright for a minute or two before the PC just randomly shut off. Afterwards I took apart the PC and put it back together a couple of times. Then I learned about how to clear CMOS; I did so and then continued to install windows 10. After installing Windows 10 the PC worked fine for 6 to 8 hours before it shut off again, after that the PC couldn't go 15 minutes without turning off. Now it won't boot to BIOS again, the troubleshooting lights cycle through until it gets to the VGA light, and then it resets back to the DRAM light. Afterwards the DRAM light remains on, and the fans in my PC get really loud. My specs are: Windows 10 Home 64 bit ASUS PRIME X570-PRO (UEFI BIOS i'm unsure of what version) AMD RYZEN 7 3800X (At stock speeds) 1X8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM (LPX 2400MHz) Zotac RTX 2070 Super 3TB Hitachi Ultrastar SATA Hard Drive EVGA Supernova 750 G+ (750W 80+ Gold)
