Hey everyone,
I got trouble finding a definite answer online, so I thought of asking the community.
Can I install the exact same Dual Channel Kit to have all four slots on my mainboard in usage?
I currently run a system with:
AMD Ryzen 3600x @3,8GHz
Asus Rog Strix B350-f
16GB G.Skill Flare X DDR4-3200 DIMM CL14 Dual Kit
The Information on the ASUS page are the following: AMD Ryzen™ 2nd Generation/ Ryzen™ with Radeon™ Vega Graphics/ Ryzen™ 1st Generation Processors4 x DIMM, Max. 64GB, DDR4 3200(O.C.)/2933(O.C.)/2666/2400/2133 MHz ECC and non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory *AMD 7th Generation A-series/Athlon™ Processors4 x DIMM, Max. 64GB, DDR4 2400/2133 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory *Dual Channel Memory Architecture * Hyper DIMM support is subject to the physical characteristics of individual CPUs. * Refer to www.asus.com for the Memory QVL (Qualified Vendors Lists).
I am bouncing between the above solution or a new 32 GB Ram Kit, which will be way higher priced if I want to get a similar performance regarding speed and timings.
Any hint/information/tipp is highly appreciated!
Greetings
Chris
Edit: I got currently the XMP Standard profile activated:
