  1. loooong time ago but it was a drive issue. Wasn’t able to keep up the games reasources. Swapping for a higher end SSD resolved it
  2. Kind of going with the salt the earth approach on this one. It’s kind of an old file trying to see if anyone anywhere would have it.
  3. Recently picked up a used Tacoma that has an older software version for its radio. There used to be a 5.20 version that was downloadable off of the Toyota website but it seems they have helpfully removed anything that was older than 2016. If anyone has the Gen 2 radio software .iso file and can provide it I would be really grateful.
  4. I agree with the sentiment that Nvidia's driver is at fault. I rolled back my driver and the issue immediately resolved itself before I had even restarted my computer.
  5. I am new to Linux and have been pounding my head against a wall for the last 2 hours I installed Lubuntu onto my laptop and am trying to get a couple of packages for the use of a CAC reader. Packages: pcsc-lite pcsc-ccid perl-pcsc pcsc-tools using “sudo apt install” I was unable to get these files. I searched the first one being pcsc-lite and found this website: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pcsc-lite when trying to figure out how to get the right package from that page installed the website keeps talking about PPA and other things but I can’t find anything like that from this page. please help!
  6. I keep seeing conflicting reports and I really am just trying to find a solid laptop with the best battery life available. Any recommendations would be awesome.
  7. Taking a look at my surge protector it seems to be at a maximum of 120v which i think this machine is eating through. I am going to try plugging it directly into the wall.
  8. I am looking for some help in figuring out why my game is dropping so many frames. Specs: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight Core Processor clocking at 3.94 GHz 16 GB Ram clocked at 2666 MHz Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1 TB (Dedicated to games there is a separate drive for the OS) NVIDIA RTX 2070 8 GB Task manager shows that it is all using about 30-40% on maximum settings and the temperature is sitting at about 50 degrees celcius unless I have been playing for a few hours. (My room is usually fairly cool which helps with this) In game my frames in a non intense graphical scene are usually sitting at about 101-144 which is awesome. When the particles on screen start to go crazy though the frames drop to around 45 which GSync handles and prevents tears but it is visibly noticeable. Despite this task manger still shows that the system resource are not capping. I assume this is a clocking issue on either the part of the ram or maybe even the Drive but I don't know. (It may be undervolting aswell but I do not know how to check that..?) Help
