There is no firmware needed but changes do need to made if I would like to boot from the NVME drive. I have removed it from my system though and I am still encountering a bluescreen error on my 2tb and 4tb hard drive. This did not happen before.

Yesterday I installed a 500gb NVME in my asrock b450 motherboard. After my computer started to bluescreen and come up with a Critical Process Died code. I tried to take out the NVME and it kept bluescreening. I tried to reset my drive and it didn't work. I am able to get to my homescreen but it crashes after a couple minutes. I bought a brandnew 4tb harddrive and it bluescreens with the same code whilst installing windows. This has never happened before and I have no clue what to do. Any tips?

I already have the cpu so should i just stick with it because im not looking to do any hard core games. Mostly just stream on twitch and minecraft. But i dont know if my mobo supports my cpu
