  1. Specs: Core i3 7100 (socketed desktop version) GeForce GTX1050ti(Mobile) Kingston SM2280S3G2/120G Mobo: Eh? Its a laptop. So hi guys, sum time ago my Clevo W650KK1 laptop just completely stopped working so I sent it in for warranty repairs. During that time I kept the 120GB Kingston m.2 SSD and the 1TB wd blue hdd. When it came back yesterday I popped in the ssd but the laptop just wouldn't recognize it as a boot device. Booting from a live linux usb shows that the ssd indeed works fine, all the files show up and I can browse the folders. Theres also a pic of the paritions on it, if that helps. Playing around with secure boot and UEFI boot in the BIOS made the ssd at least show up in the boot devices list but it still doesnt boot from it, it just goes for the linux usb . I have no idea what to do from here on. Using a Windows 10 installation media usb and trying out all the troubleshooting options also didnt help. The only factor that is different than before the repair is the hdd. I dont have it right now, but it also wasnt even partitioned when I installed windows onto the ssd, so I dont think the boot sector would be on it. Any ideas?
