  1. I've updated to the latest GPU drivers, I'll also check if any other components need any updating.
  2. Oh yeah, my PSU is a 80 plus gold
  3. Acer 27" 60hz https://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-S271HL-inch-Widescreen-Monitor/dp/B01ANB3KDY Also to add, my moniter is connected via HDMI to my gpu
  4. So basically, my computer has stated to do this annoying habit where the monitor will switch of however the the computer itself continues to run, in addition when this occurs my fans start to make a lot of noise which i assume is speeding up; why? I don't know. This mostly happens during playing games which some may name as taxing games. This "monitor turning off thing" event seems to happen so far on: Rainbow 6 Siege, Destiny 2 and Fortnite. For additional info here are some specs for my PC and graphical settings for my games: Computer: • Asus strix 1660ti • Asus strix B450-F • Ryzen 5 2600 (stock cooler) • Corsair 4x4gb LPX 2666mhz RAM • Corsair RM 650x • 1TB HDD & 500gb SSD Thank you for reading this
  5. ok, so my friend has 4x2133mhz ram, i asked her to check her bios and said 2133mhz, she also checked task manager it also says 2133mhz and checked cpu-z and said 1066mhz. why are all these stating differently from cpu-z
  6. so essentially i am running 2666mhz? i thought each ram module ran 2666mhz each therefore if cpu-z displays double of what each ram speed is set to, shouldn't it display 2666x2= 5332 like, as advertised 2666mhz
  7. So basically, i was playing wildlands and i realised WHAT! why is my ram speed so dog. so i investigated via task manager and CPU-Z, 133mhz?!? So i went to bios to change the ram speed to 2666. after rebooting i checked through task manager and cpu-z but to no avail it didnt budge. SPECS: Asus strix b450-f ryzen 3 2600 lpx 2x4gb 2666mhz gtx 1050 rm650x PSU 1 Samsung SSD 850 500gb 1 WD 1TB HDD i tried looking for xmp but intel only :((
