So i've had this build since late 2017 and it's starting to feel a bit slow. When i built it i worked on a fairly tight budget and from what i've heard i should probably start upgrading some components about now.
My current build is listed below and i humbly ask for some help in deciding which parts i wanna upgrade first.
CPU
AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
RAM Corsair Vengeance DDR4 8GB 2666MHz (2x4 GB)
Motherboard
ASUS PRIME A320M-K (AM4)
Graphics
Gigabyte GeForce® GTX 1060 WINDFORCE OC 3G
PSU
Not sure tbh.
This one is for sure getting upgraded since it's at best a B-tier PSU from what i remember. However i would like some advice in what to buy to future-proof me for the best value.
Case
CoolerMaster MASTERBOX LITE 3.1
Storage
111GB KINGSTON SA400S37120G (SATA-2 (SSD))
465GB Hitachi HGST HTS545050A7E380 (SATA)
465GB Western Digital WDS500G3XHC-00SJG0 (M.2 NVMe SSD)
1. Budget & Location
I live in Sweden and my budget Is flexible, however i preferably don't want to spend more than 4000SEK (Around $410 USD)
2. Aim
I mostly play online competetive games but also a few AAA-games like Assassins Creed, Civilization VI and want to be able to run upcoming titles fairly well (med. settings).
This might be too much to ask for considering my budget but any advice is welcome.
3. Monitors
AOC 2590G4 (1920x1080@144Hz)
Samsung SyncMaster (1920x1080@60Hz)
4. Why are you upgrading?
It's starting to feel slow and occationally freezes. I've also been considering upgrading the PSU for a while and thought it would be convenient to order something else while im at it.
And btw, does anyone know if this Motherboard supports M.2 storage? It shows up and i can use it as a secondary drive but booting from it doesn't work and it shows the drive type as "Unknown" in BIOS.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this ?
