  1. After running powercfg /requests, it seems that \Device\HarddiskVolume3\Windows\System32\MoUsoCoreWorker.exe is responsible for my computer not being able to sleep/stay asleep. I've located the process to "schedule scan" within the task scheduler, but am unable to disable it as I get an error "the user account you are operating under does not have permission to disable this task"
  2. Ok great, seems like the CX is most likely one I'm going to get. Thanks!
  3. Unless there's something better, I think the Corsair CX 550W might be the one I'm going with.
  4. After reading this, it seems the ZOTAC one is the one I should go for? It is cheaper and good for the value.
  5. The CX is $74.99 in CAD, in USD it's $69.87. The RMX you're talking about is $99.99 in USD but about $130 CAD. I think for my wallet, it would be better to get the CX, unless there's something better for a equal or reasonable price.
  6. I'm looking at MSI Gaming GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 192-bit HDMI/DP 6GB and the ZOTAC Gaming FeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6GB GDDR6 192-bit. After watching reviews about the 1660-ti, it seems like the ZOTAC is a good budget 1660-ti. But the MSI seems to come out on top overall.
  7. I'm looking at a "Corsair VS 550 W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply" it's $54.99 CAD. It seems to be good, but apparently the counterpart; CX is better? (Corsair CX (2017) 550 W 80+ Bronze) but costs $74.99. Worth?
  8. Any specific brand I should lookout to buy for the 1660-ti? I don't know much about the pros and cons of each brand are.
  9. I don't really plan on upgrading the motherboard, as I think what I have currently will last me a few more years. I don't know about the cooler though.
  10. Is there a specific brand I should get the 1660-ti from, ex. ASUS, MSI, EVGA, etc.
  11. I've had this prebuilt PC for about a year now. I'm just thinking of upgrading as I intend to play higher demanding games then what I am playing now.
  12. For the games, I play, yes as I don't usually play highly demanding games. It's just I think my GPU is bottlenecking my CPU from its "best performance" if that makes sense. I'm also planning to possibly purchase a VR set. If the 750W is the same price as the 550W then I'll most likely get that then. Thanks.
  13. Possibly, the motherboard comes with another spot for another RAM stick. (yes, the 12GB ram is in 1 stick) The case has enough space for larger GPUs and definitely doesn't look like anything special.
  14. My PRE-BUILT PC already comes with: -i7 7700 -GTX 1050 2GB -350W Power Supply -1TB HDD (no SSD) -12GB of DDR4 RAM What do you guys think of upgrading to a Corsair 550W power supply, a GTX 1660-ti, and a 250GB SSD? Is it worth, or should I think about getting different parts?
