  1. Hi guys, (Long story short - Worth the money to buy ryzen 3700x with new ram and mobo?) I hope you can give me some advice and tips. I'm planning to upgrade my PC. I use my PC mostly for gaming, OW, PUBG, Battlefield 2 and planning of buying the new COD. Some ppl say that the i7-4790K still is a good CPU and do OK. But it's 6 years old so it feels like it's bottlenecking in some games, especielly PUBG. Am i wrong? I use the Afterburner to see the stats but the CPU never hits 100% during gameplay. I play 1080P and have 144hz monitor. Current PC: GPU - Gainward GeForce RTX 2070 CPU - Intel Core i7-4790K PSU - Corsair CS 750M, 750W MBO - MSI Z97I GAMING AC, Socket-1150 mini ITX RAM - HyperX Fury DDR3 1600MHz 16GB SSD - Kingston SSDNow V300 240GB LCD - Dual screen 24" 144hz Benq 1080P + 24" 60hz Benq 1080P (used for discord) I have done some research but I'm not sure what to buy. I talked to a guy in my local PC shop. He recommended me to buy the following: CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 3700X MBO - ASUS Rog Strix X470-F Gaming RAM - G SKill Sniper X DDR4 2x8GB 3600mhz CL 19 So my queistion is, do I need that kind of motherboard to benefit the fast RAM 3600mhz, or will a lower clockspeed be ok? I mean if I'm gonna upgrade i rather spend more money to get the best possible setup. BUt i dont wanna spend money of stuff i dont need or can see the better performance. I might buy a 1440P screen in the future. The upgrade will cost me about 800USD here in Norway where I live. Thanks a lot ?
