I don't think your ram decision should change either way. Regardless you should go with a 16GB 3600Mhz. A 3600 will only net you extra performance, in workstation like processes, not games.Just spending $700 CAD on a 3300x setup is way too  much for that gear.

given that youve already got a gpu i'd recommend waiting for b550 to come out and getting a 3600x with some good ram
