  1. Very well. I'll invest into a surge protector and stop with unplugging it unless there like thunder nearby. I'm not planning to go in holidays anyway ever.
  2. Hello, I have a pc it's four / five years old now. How ever due my psyche I've always unplugged or shut of the extention plug it was connected to. Recent I installed windows 10. And moved my PC to another room for it. Only one hour after it was installed my PC suddenly shut off. I wondered if it was the monitor because that had been switching to black and on every so often since the installation. Turned out the pc itself was turned off. It started back up again when I got up to check if maybe the supply cable was loose. When I did and tried to re adjust it it gave a zapping noice and it killed the psu. My question is. Should I be less paranoid about leaving my PC plugged into to the sockets. And should I switch off the psu when moving the pc to another socket so it can't create a power surge. Because every time I plugged my PC into a socket I could see a blue white ish spark of light from said socket accompanied by a soft pop noise.
