  1. All are excellent units. Pick whichever
  2. 850W will be plenty. Phanteks P400A or P500A have excellent airflow, dont think they have usb c though. meshify c is pretty good anyway though
  3. Watching youtube videos is probably the easiest way to learn. For beginner builds check out Pauls Hardware, and obviously LTT does some as well. Do you want a monitor included within your budget? I would suggest a build with something like a Ryzen 3 3300X and a 1650 super/ RX580. Its not particularly high end but should be within budget and match your needs
  4. Whats your budget? A Ryzen 5 3600 would be nice add in if you already have a decent B450 board. I would also suggest a GPU upgrade first if you want better gaming performance- depends on budget though.
  5. I have the ASUS Zephyrus G14 with 4600HS and 1650- Great laptop, but very annoying fans. I downloaded a file from the G14 reddit that allows me to set a custom fan curve, allowing me to keep the fans off under light load. I have also disabled CPU boost to keep temperatures more steady. Currently I have the curve set so the fans start to spin when the CPU hits 49C. When web browsing or writing documents/ emails, temps hit about 45C max after at least an hour. Drive temps seem to hover around 50C. My question is whether this is safe to do. These temps reported by hardware info 64 seem to be perfectly safe, so why does ASUS just not configure their laptop to run quieter with their own armoury crate software? Am I potentially shortening the longevity of some other component in the laptop, or is it just an oversight by ASUS not offering a completely silent mode? Thanks for any help
  6. Probably no good. Can't find any reviews of it. You almost certainly do t need 1000W so why risk it on a cheapo unit. Get a well reviewed 550 or 650W unit
  7. Unless you have a very multicore heavy workload, then probably not. Certainly not worth it for gaming. If you want to invest in the CPU more, it may be worth waiting for Zen3, although that will be a few months at least. (you have to wait for the 3070 anyway so it may be worth is)

Obviously check requirements when reviews come out, but 550W should be plenty. P400A has much better airflow than the H510. Only get the H510 if you really love the aesthetics, and know that it will run hotter. Hope this helps
  9. Would wait to see power usage. I would say your current PSU could easily handle the 3080, but the 3090 may be a bit more uncertain. The RMX650 is a great unit though If you're going all out on a 3090, or even a 3080, I would suggest a CPU upgrade. 7700K is good, but for this level of gaming a 6 core would be beneficial
  10. As they are all Micro ATX, they should have the same number of pcie slots. Of these I would get the MSI if possible, and if budget is really tight, then the Pro4. The 1660Super is the best here if you can afford it. 6GB Vram will be plenty. Between the 1650S and rx580 is tough. The 1650S is newer and more power efficient, but the 580 has more vram. I would say get whichever is cheaper. A used rx580 may be the best option, saving you some money 1tb single is better. Generally cheaper, can often be faster, and gives you a spare m.2 slots on the motherboard
  11. Stick with the 9400F and see how it goes. If you find it's inadequate, maybe consider an upgrade to zen 3 when it's released. Should be fine though unless you want to run at low settings 1080p, or are playing very CPU heavy games like shadow of the tomb raider. A good quality 550W PSU should be fine. I wouldn't go any lower, just so you have some room for upgrade in the future. Gamers Nexus' did a good piece of PSU wattage a few days ago if you need more help
  12. The 4800H will perform almost the same as the 4900S, and sometimes better. Availability in the UK is a bit scarce though. The XMG Core 15 is great, but it's out of stock till October I believe. The HP Omen 15 is good too, but I don't think it's on sale yet in the UK PC specialists have some you can configure yourself with the 4800H, but I'm not sure what the quality of these laptops is like
  13. Corsair TXM has sat around £70 for a while now, which is really a great price - cheaper than the inferior CXM series. If your in the UK, its the best option for most people IMO
  14. Try not to cheap out on the PSU. If your build it over £800 in total, up your PSU budget to £70 and get a Corsair TXM. If your budget really is very tight, look at the PSU tier list in the subforum, and get the best unit you can afford. Generally though, try not to cheap out. A good quality PSU could last you years through many upgrades, and gives you piece of mind that it is less likely to fail and kill your system
  15. Just wait and see. Nobody knows yet. The launch will be in less than an hour, and hopefully reviews will follow sometime soon. if it still sells, why lower it?
  16. Wait 1h 20min for ampere launch You could probably get an equally good PSU for less as well. Like this one https://pcpartpicker.com/product/PVzZxr/corsair-txm-gold-650w-80-gold-certified-semi-modular-atx-power-supply-cp-9020132-na Otherwise looks good Edit: thought it was USD
  17. Thats a tough one. If it werent 4K I would definitely say CPU, as the 1070Ti is still very good. You say you have £800 to play with. If you could sell your 1070ti for at least £250, I would suggest a full CPU, GPU, RAM and Motherboard upgrade. You could get the zen 3 ryzen 5 part for hopefully £200, then a 3080, 16GB ram (only about £60 at the moment) and then a solid £110-140 B550 board. I would just wait and see about the pricing on the 3080 (hopefully not long now) and of course this relies on your PSU still being adequate Alternatively you could probably sell the whole system for a fair bit and pool that to build a complete new build
  18. I see you have a 2060, so unless you're playing at low settings 1080p esports, then its probably not worth it. Although, for that excellent price, you could probably flip is for a profit

Or try and find a used GTX 1070 which would give a nice performance bump Unfortunately UAE pricing doesnt seem to great. 20. Looks pretty solid. All those motherboards will handle the 3600 easily. If you don't plan on upgrading later to a ryzen 9 part, I would get the DS3H as it's the cheapest, and perfectly adequate. If you plan on adding something more powerful, get the Pro4, or have a look for the MSI B550m Pro VDH WiFi. As far as GPUs, 1650 super is the one I'd pick from those, however, if gaming was my priority I'd try and get maybe a 1660 super. If you want to squeeze it in, you could get a B450 motherboard, like the Asrock B450 Pro4, or the MSI B450 Pro VDH, and perhaps get a 3300X (if available). However this would be worse for video editing, so it depends on your priorities For PSUs, have a look at the PSU tier list in the subforum, and get some from the B or A tier. As for cases, try and get one with good airflow, that's reasonably priced, and you like the look of. Some suggestions: -Phanteks P300A/P400A/P500A -Coolermaster TD500 -Fractal meshify C -Corsair 220T Airflow -Coolermaster NR600 I'm not too familiar with Indian pricing, but try and look for some of these suggestions and hopefully this helps
  21. Temps? Up to date drivers? From looking at a few of these youtube videos, they are reporting 1080p results, and your monitor is reported as 1440p in userbenchmark. Are you comparing the correct resolutions? Edit: just noticed you say its the same resolution in your post. anyway, check the drivers and temps and see if that helps
  22. Had forgotten the 4A had the extra ram and double the storage. Makes it an even better deal. Makes me kinda want to sell my 3A XL now
  23. Idk what region you're in, but UK pricing at the moment is: £300 for the 3A £500 for the 4 £350 Pre order for the 4A Based off this, I think the 4A is definitely the best value, although none of them are bad at these prices.
