  1. i am looking for recommendations for laptops that would serve as work laptops. i want it to have a good keyboard (something like MBP 2015, or thinkpad) and be a 16" 16:10 screen with high refresh rate. i want it to have an dedicated GPU (nothing fancy for gaming) and an 8core processor. i want it with more than 16gb of ram. i only know of new thinkpads that can get this config but those start at 2700$ which is ridicuous. the same goes fro asus m16 which looks a bit bulkier and i don't like the 1660 gpu (even though i don't need it for gaming, the vram is very low) and it's also out of stock or super expensive. I would like to know if there are other options, i am interested in AMD based laptops but want to know if my thunderbolt dock would work with them at least for the displays and the USB ports. Thanks.
  2. Apparently it is something known and quite old, but this is quite possible and the services that let you do this are called USB over Ethernet. now it is basically usb over any network.
  3. I can't buy stuff, like 60$ is a lot ( ruthless economy thing ). the latency is totally okey between my android phone and PC via WIFI when i use universal remote app. Well u made it look very complicated xDD, but i know that i can get my wired controller to work on my phone, so any games that support controller do work on my phone when i plug my controller via the cable and otg adapter. And using special software on the computer side is not really an issue for me, i found it very useful when i tried universal remote on my phone which turns your phone into a remote (but can't let me bridge my wireless controller thought) What i need a software that would allow me to do it, anyone knows ?
  4. My goal is simple to bridge my wired controller via my phone to be able to use it wirelessly. So i plug my controller via the usb OTG cable and then map my controller to my PC using wifi thus making my wired controller wireless. IS there a way to doing this ? And i am not going to buy anything if needed. it is a bit of a challenge.
  5. Okey but, i hardly can see the 200MB/s when copying the data on my existing drives from a 2GB/s read SSD on my main computer, That looked very fishy
  6. I bought couple of external hard drives and i found out that they are all sata 2 hard drives with an adaptable interface ( sata to usb ) that only supports the sata 2 revision. I want to know why ? and if there are any external hard drives taht are sata 3 (600Mb/s) rated?
  7. Thanks, can you link to that app on the play store ? or any other place, if possible.
  8. Hello ! I am trying to find a way to evaluate a used phone that I might buy before doing so. In computers I can use system info to determine the CPU, RAM, GPU and can use software like crystalDisk mark and info to make sure my drives are good enough for the price and use that as basis to negotiate. But how can I know that when it comes to a mobile phone ? (lets say a new one like an S8, which I am trying to buy in fact) can someone help ?
