  1. The difference is that we would need a bigger one, and no one in my house cares about "gigabiting" the whole house, so I want it for me so I transfer data between computers in my room(it's a hassle but I think that's my only option)
  2. My internet connection isn't that good, and my family is completely against buying a switch for the whole house so I want to buy one just for me (those small ones that go for like 40$ top). What I want to know is if that is going to slow down my connection too much or would I barely notice. We have 20 mbps download, 10 upload. Edit: I don't know s**t about switches, I've never used one.
  3. I finally got it to work, but for some reason from my bro's computer I can see my pc, but I can't see his from mine. Do you know why?
  4. the thing is that I've enable folders to be accesed by other computers, but when I enter the network thing in folders, nothing happens
  5. ok, but do I have to turn on/off something? I really don't know anything about this, I've just gotten as far as having a static ip in my pc
  6. Here's the thing, I don't want to buy a switch xD(yes, I use xD, sue me). I feel like such an ooga booga caveman when we have to download a 200 GB game at least twice, or even more when I have to take out my hdd and install it in my bro's pc. Can we just use the modem that we are both connected to? And if so, can you do the same with a router too?
  7. But if literally is Warzone, is it that easy just going to blizzard's launcher, properties from game, and just copy paste?
  8. I'm sure this is way easier than I think, but I want to copy and paste games from my pc to another, but I don't know if it's as easy as just copy paste 150 GB Warzone from my drive to my brother's, can someone help me? I've done it with valorant, but valorant is a 7 GB game...
  9. Thaanks a freaking lot men, and all other people that helped too, really
  10. basically because of the satisfaction of having them, also my panel is freesync, and I'm pretty sure I can not tell the difference between 100 and 140fps, and I thought that it was the psu because after all this years maybe it wouldn't be providing the gpu with enough power
  11. 1080p, I forgot to write that, and yeah I saw that video, but regardless in rainbow and apex i think I should get 144fps at 1080
