MrSquishie got a reaction from NimeshMadhushka in I need a new phone.
I've personally had a great experience with Xiaomi products, currently running a Xiaomi Mi11 Lite 5G.
I'd like to put forward the Xiaomi 13 Pro.
OS wise, it's running MIUI14 (Global release) so running Android 13 and from experience, I've had at minimum 3-4 years of main OS support with 5-6 (my previous device) security updates. Unlockable Bootloader so you can install a custom OS, like I have.
Supports all but 1 of the NA cellular bands Listed under "Network & Connectivity"
Still supports Google and all its services & obviously can sideload apps too.
Repairability is usually great, iFixit has carried some key parts like glass and batteries but it is pretty easy to find basically everything you'd need to replace anything either through local suppliers or even AliExpress (I had to replace my fingerprint sensor and rear glass on my Mi11 and a number of batteries over the years).
Fitted with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus
3 Leica camera sensors, all 50MP and from my experience with other devices that family use, the main MIUI camera app can have the beauty modes turned completely off and doesn't overly process images or video. Stabilisation is good but not great. A function enabled in settings allows for fast access to the camera by double pressing the volume down key too.

You've got to try the Xiaomi 13 Pro 5G Global version, Xiaomi's MIUI always feels fun to use the android and I love the customization to stand out in the crowd though Linus may not care about it. Overall good phone

I want to be fair. I know the temptation of trying to find something outlandish is strong, but resisting the urge, I would really like to see Linus daily drive the Xiaomi 13T pro. I have been an avid samsung user for the longest time, however, i have been looking at the Xiaomi and it seems great on paper and would really like to see an honest review from Linus and see what he thinks.

IMO a xiaomi 13 would be a great option, It's one of my all time favourite phones and it's just the right size, like the s23 or the iPhone 15 pro not max

how about Xiaomi 13 Ultra, i mean MIUI is kinda eh, but in terms of specs it kinda meet your preferences like long battery, usb 3.2, and quiet good speaker. even though the minus for your preferences is probably the 90W battery charge

A good old-fashioned hug of death! Just like the heyday of Digg and del.icio.us (or however they spelled it).
No malicious intent needed; drive enough genuine traffic to a website and it's going to buckle.

Thanks for the concern everyone. We are still in recovery mode over here and working with YouTube to get everything restored. Will hopefully have a video (or at least an update on WAN Show) to share with you all ASAP, but we want to make sure we get the details right since smaller channels may rely on our experience to help harden their own security.

Now Linus needs to Drag out the CEO of dell for "Redemption" Secret shopper 2021. Where the CEO call support him/herself under a pseudonym. and have him/her order a PC.
Lets see if the CEO likes his own Policy.
Of course the rule would be if he says he/her is the CEO. or informs his staff of this. they will have to DOUBLE refund every consumer who got uncharged against their wishes.

I will be writing the awards ceremony this afternoon, it is currently 1030 here so expect it in the next 12 hours or so.
I'm still trying to work out the best way to deal with 250+ prizes, as in distribution. I will probably do what I always do and ask people to DM me.
EDIT: No idea where I got 700+ from, thats what I get for not paying attention!
Can't wait for a nice break

Couldn't convince them to fold under LTT though. Sorry
