  1. What I find really weird is that there are almost no good options for screen protectors available for the Pixel 7 Pro. I've literally looked on every website but only Amazon has a handful of TPU and glass protectors available. And if there are good ones, they are usually more on the expensive side. Went with a cheap TPU one for now, night switch to a better one later.
  2. Alrighty, I've took some time and edited a couple of parts so they match the lists provided by @Dukesilver27-. Thanks btw! Also went ahead and changed to a 3070, as most 3080s go over the desk for app. 900€. That would push up your MSRP to about 2100€, which is waaay above your set budget. If you still want to get a 3080, I've included some that I found while researching. Went from the EVGA PSU to a new be quiet! PSU too. Don't worry, it still has 850W and is a fully modular ATX power supply. Instead of the Phanteks case, I put the Corsair Airflow 4000D in there. It has much better airflow and I'm sure you'll like it as much as I do By the way, you might find some good sales or prices when you look around in stores like Mediamarkt, Saturn or even Conrad! Ebay also has some good deals nowadays. 3. Definitely! Like you said, it's probably a good idea to wait for reviews and then decide on which phone I'll be getting. Thanks a lot!
  4. It must still be brighter than an FHD panel, right? Though I must say looking at them in person the A90K really seems to be superb with image quality.
  5. The S series did fulfill all my expectations too, even if they were just hand-me-downs from my relatives. Good stuff, but from what I've heard there are a few problems with the Exynos chips that are used in my region. The Pixels seem to be a good alternative though, now that Huawei phones do not recieve Android anymore. Also seems to be perfect, as we are only a few weeks away from the Pixel 7. Though I must admit, phones really have gotten a lot more expensive. Even the 800 bucks I paid for this one starts looking like change for today's MSRPs lmao. But we'll see, I am pretty sure any new flagship will be a major upgrade.
  6. In our home we currently have a 2012 Samsung UE46ES8090 TV which recently had problems with the panel and the HDMI inputs. RIP. So it was time to get a new TV, thought of an A90K but I also saw an ad for an X90J. However I really don't have a clue what the difference between those two is, and is it even worth it switch to Sony TVs (According to Linus, yes)? And are there any other TVs that have the same specs but are cheaper or smaller?
  7. I did hear lots of good things about the Poco phones. Will have a look at them!
  8. Alrighty, For context, I've had my daily driver for four years now (Yup, you read that right). Given the age and the aging battery, I thought it'd be a great time to upgrade to something new! However I am kind of in a dead end right now, as there aren't many phones who check all of the marks on my wish list. That is why I thought y'all could help me with finding the perfect phone for myself. At first, it should have the same performance as my current (P20 Pro) or better. In addition it needs to have a great camera, because who wants to see their face pixelated amirite? Another thing would bethat it should have at least 128 GB of storage. Huge plus would be face recognition and a fingerprint sensor, but to be fair most phones already have those one or both of these things on board. I also don't mind waiting for a month or two, as my contract ends in November.
  9. I have been using my RGB mouse for a couple of months now. In the first few months I noticed, that there's some sort of black residue on my hand. Over the time there was more residue and you could see that the foliage from the mouse was flaking off, exposing the transparent shell underneath it. Then it was clear to me, that in fact, the residue was coming from my mouse. That shouldn't actually happen on a mid-tier mouse (paid about 39€ or 42 USD). It was clear to me that in fact, the residue was coming from my mouse. I thought it might have something to do with my hands itself, since they are often sweaty after being about 3 hours on the PC which then could result into the foliage coming off. But now, let us come to my question. How did that happen in the first place and how do i prevent it from happening in the future?
  10. Yep. I've looked at the Viewsonic Elite, but that was about 500 bucks here. So I would say up to 3840x2160 is fine, you'll get pretty goods ones with a reasonable price. Productivity wise I'm doing basic stuff such as Word, Notepad, etc. and some picture editing.
  11. Budget & Location: Germany. I can go up to 2000€ (2161 USD/3069,37 CAD). Aim: Productivity and Gaming PC, Medium to Ultra settings Monitor: Samsung T27D390, 27 inch, 60 hz (can be replaced) Peripherals: Already have a keyboard and a headset, might need a new mouse. An SSD for the OS and an HDD (nothing lower than 2 TB) for the games/programs is needed. Upgrading: Yes, from my pre-built HP PC. Hi! As you guys can see, I am planning to get a custom built PC, since my current PC is slowly getting in it's retirement phase after 5 years of use. Because my school is focused on computer use, it would be good idea too. That is why it should be focused on productivity use together with gaming of course.
  12. Nice shot! The colors are very crisp and distinguishable. If you are zooming in, you can clearly see the detail of the fur. It also isn't heavily pixelated, which makes it easier to zoom on the eyes for example. Took this picture last year, around this time too. It's one of my favorite pictures. (Note: This was actually taken on my phone!)
