  1. yeah actually that makes sense. I could do that but cant go for a cheap cpu now because it wont solve my core problem. So i guess i will have to wait a little bit. But yeah thanks guys!
  2. yeah i was thinking about a Ryzen build but then i have to change my motherboard as well.
  3. I have a Cooler master hyper D92, here this one https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/coolers/cpu-air-coolers/hyper-d92/, And planning for that as well. But probably by end of this year.
  4. woah guys thank you soo much for all the quick responses! so i tried battlefield v with this following setting. i bumped up the Resolution scale to 170% to increase the GPU usage after seeing that video. What do you know it really reduced the amount of stuttering happenings. So yeah i should go for at least 8700. So do you guys think upgrading my PSU wont be necessary right away ? since im kinda in a budget its either CPU or PSU that is why im asking.?
  5. Hi all, Here is my setup, motherboard - gigabyte b360 aorus gaming 3 wifi processor - Intel i5 8400 ram - G.Skill Trident Z 3200 mhz 16 gig kit (http://www.gskill.com/product/165/167/1536718509/F4-3200C16D-16GTZRXTrident-Z-RGB-(For-AMD)DDR4-3200MHz-CL16-18-18-38-1.35V16GB-(2x8GB)) hdd - Seagate 2TB 7200 rpm (which my games are installed) ssd - Kingston 240GB (https://www.kingston.com/en/ssd/uv500-solid-state-drive?Capacity=240GB&Form Factor=2.5"&With Installation Kit=Drive Only) gpu - Zotac RTX 2080 amp extreme core psu - FSP HYDRO (K) 600W 80 plus bronz (https://www.fsplifestyle.com/PROP163000554/?fbclid=IwAR2L9uedPhUnxC7l26IimOsSHOpBI6ZaJsWei4gawlKcaq4oZmigK2AoYc8) display - 1080p 60hz (planning to upgrade soon) Here is my issue, i can play any game at maximum settings but even but cant seem to play battlefield v smoothly at any settings. RTX on or off, medium, low anything. I get sudden FPS drops(from like 80 to 40fps) and the game runs at low fps averagely 80FPS and sometimes its 69-70FPS. I'v been trying various things for the past couple of months to resolve this issue. at first i thought it was a software issue. Since this guy in this video( ) is saying there is a windows memory issue. Since it is an old video i updated every possible software including windows to latest to see if the problem get resolved. But no. So my final assumption is my GPU or the CPU because as you can see here attached images. GPU usage is very low. So im guessing maybe its CPU bottleneck or my power supply is not enough for my total usage of my rig. And i saw this video from linus here. Here he says that it could be the low resolution. Can that be my problem really? What do you guys think?
