  1. Can MaxQuant use CUDA cores? A threadripper 3990x is good. But if you could use a graphics card like a Titan V for example. That would be better, so can I use CUDA cores for MaxQuant or any similar software?
  2. I have a HP Pavilion DV5, I know it is old. I was wondering what is the IO on this and what GPU can I fit in this boi.
  3. How Would I make a CPU cluster. I just want to be able to have lots of CPUs for MaxQuant.
  4. So do you think it is possible to do it. Or should I dm @Den-Fi
  5. Forget about budget. Is it possible to use a GPU as a CPU. By that I mean can I use a GPU to assist the CPU in any way? Can you also explane how the hell bitcoin mining uses the GPU and not CPU. So can I do that but with MaxQuant? I need this for a project.
  6. So then this would work? https://pcpartpicker.com/product/bjZ2FT/asrock-motherboard-b150mhds
  7. So would this fit? https://pcpartpicker.com/product/bRgzK8/msi-b360m-bazooka-mini-itx-lga1151-motherboard-b360m-bazooka I want to still use the same CPU and RAM. I just want 4 DIMM slots.
  8. Yes I got it from best buy. I'm in Canada if that helps.
  9. Hello, I am Eric. Just about 2 years ago I got an Acer Aspire TC-780. Intel Core i5 7400, 12 GB of Ram (8 Gig Stick And a 4 Gig Stick) Since then I have Upgraded it by replacing the DVD reader with a WB SSD. Then one of the ram slots went bad. and then I had to remove the 4 GB ram stick. Because it only has 2 Ram Slots. I was wondering what motherboards I can fit in this bad boy. Here are some specs.
