  1. Hello to all I've setup our home network. We live in an old European brickhouse with thick walls, so we have the fiber box downstairs, and a netgear router. Then a cat 5 cable running upstairs to a tp-link archer C9 setup in access point mode. This worked fine for around a year, until my mom accidentally factory resat the tp-link archer C9. Somehow i can't get it to work stably anymore. I'm moving out in 2 weeks and can't help anymore, so i would really appreciate some help. Here's the config of the network system: Netgear router (main): IP Address: 192.168.1.1 IP subnet mastk: 255.255.255.0 DHCP range: 192.168.1.10-192.168.1.254 and an address reservation for the archer C9 at 192.168.1.2 TP-Link Archer C9 IP Address: 192.168.1.2 IP subnet mastk: 255.255.255.0 Standard gateway: 192.168.1.1 DHCP: off The problem It works fine for an undefined interval, the the network icon changes to the yellow one ("undifined network") and i can't even log in to any of the 2 config webpages. Both wireless and cable stops working. The wireless network works downstairs from the netgear router, so i have concluded that the problem must be with the archer C9, or a communication problem between the router and the access point. Temporary fix Replogging the cable comming from the router into the accesspoint seems to fix the problem, but this is not good in the long run. Thank you for reading and if you need any more info from me, please tell me and I will get it to you
