  1. Hey Guys,

    I'm thinking of upgrading my

    RX570 4GB to RX6650XT or 6700.

    The thing is I have a i3-9100F, 16 GB 2400mHz RAM, 450W PSU, 1 SSD and 2 Hard Drives.

I updated my PC back in 2019.

Should I update my GPU to the 6650 or 6700.

I've got a job so finding time to play games is very low now. I do want to update the entire setup but that's for a later date.

So should I update my GPU now or wait for some more time, save money and when RockStar releases the GTA 6 PC requirements then change make a complete overall.

    Please advise

    Thank You

  2. Hi,

I've been getting spam messages in my Gmail that don't let me unsubscribe.

These emails don't have any text in them they only have a picture (not attachments just straight up picture).

I can see those picture's only on my phone. When I open the mail on my PC, I get nothing.

Right Now I don't have any pictures or video of the mails. Because I've been deleting them and I got the idea of asking help here only after deleting them. I'm sure those emails will come again. So, when they do come. I'll add the pictures. But I do have a picture of a filter I created to auto delete these emails.

I contacted google about this but the rep told me to report these emails.

What this spammers have been doing is. They have taken my mail ID. Lets say john.doe69@gmail.com is my mail ID. They send mail to john.doe69NK@aol.com, john.doe69aw@aol.com and more. Since john.doe69 is the main thing all of those spam messages come to me. Essentially these pictures have fake unsubscribe options in them but clicking on them redirects to 1xbet or some sketchy site hell once it redirected me to google.com

All of this spam messages have one thing in common. They all come from accounts having the words aol.com, winkerstar.net and asahi.com in their sent from addresses.

I will add the pictures. When I get them again.

If anyone has gone through this in the past please help me.

If anyone from LMG have look into this and help. Maybe we can put a end to this kinda crap in gmail.

    Thank You

What type of Internet connection is it?  Does the old router have a bridge mode or could you get a new router that is able to completely replace it?  Were you open NAT before, because if not it could be your ISP is using CG-NAT which changing routers wont fix.

The problem is you have connected to the new router to the old one, so the old router is still the primary router doing all the work translating from your public IP address to a private one.  You've just added a second layer of converting from one private LAN to a different private LAN.

You could DMZ from the old router to the new one, but still in this configuration having the new router is largely pointless as the old one is still doing all the work.

Still a great explanation that will ultimately come in handy.

    Hey Hi all,

Thank You for your help. I figured where the problem is. My ISP router was already on NAT 4. I changed it to NAT Type 1 and the entire thing is solved.

I mean, sure an option would be to eliminate one of the routers from your chain. Is there a particular reason why you have two?

One is the ISP one. I get my connection from a telecom provider so its the Ppoppe thingy. That router does not have dual band WiFi and it is not that good in terms of computing. That's why I have the TP Link. TP Link has been great.

You won't be able to achieve nat open in your setup since your double natting having 2 routers in one network.

So, I've  got no option ?

  6. Hi,

I recently bought a TP-Link Archer C6 router. Previously I had a ISP router which was not that good.

I've connected the ISP one to the new router and it is working fine. Except that the NAT Type is set to Strict. I want to how I can change that to Open. I DMZ'ed my PC from the route's "site" but still I get "You're NAT type is set to Strict" in GTAO. When I looked into to I see lots of info about Port Forwarding and stuff. I don't understand that. For my ISP router I was easily able to change the NAT type. It had a drop-down menu of some sorts but in TP-Link I'm not able to find it.

Can someone please help me ?

TLDR: Need help with Changing NAT type in a TP Link Router and Need info about Port Forwarding and stuff.

    Thank You

Hrmmmm, I've got nothing. It should just work. Honestly I've found Google's over the phone (*shudder*) customer support to spectacular, though sometimes they are just like "well, you're SOL. Have fun with the hidden debug pages I told you about", but that was with EoL hardware so I get it.

    hey hi,

I bought a Dual Band Router and did all the configurations and what not. Now its working. Contacted Google Support they did try to help. But getting the router was the solution.

    That's.... bonkers.
Couple questions. What's your wifi router? Can the chromecast see the network but just fails to connect? If not, can your phone see the network when placed in the exact same spot?

Yes it can see the Network. I type in the passwords and stuff and then it fails to connect same with my phone's 2.4 Ghz. My router is a ISP provided one. My phone was connected to the Wifi network.

  9. I've bought a 4K Chromecast with Google TV. During the setup process i was trying to connect it to my Wifi but it did not work later I tried on my phone's hotspot still it did not connect and at last I changed my hotspot to 5Ghz and it connected immediately. What should I do to make it connect to my 2.4Ghz network ?

    Thank You

  10. Hello everyone! I'm conducting a research study for my MBA project, and I need your help! The aim of my study is to compare different work week arrangements, including 4 days, 5 days, 6 days, and other work schedules. By collecting data from individuals who are currently employed, I hope to gain insights into their preferences, experiences, and perceptions of different work week arrangements. Your participation in this survey will contribute to our understanding of work-life balance and job satisfaction. Your feedback is valuable and will help me analyze and draw meaningful conclusions. So, if you have a job, I would greatly appreciate it if you could spare a few minutes to fill out my survey using the link provided.

Sounds like it. However the best way to test it is try another router, which isn't always ideal (not everyone has spares laying around).

For years I've found both my cable modems and routers (even pretty high end ones) would slow down during large downloads, or had stability problems, especially if you loaded them down. Adding extra cooling solved this. So I always modified them, adding heatsinks and fans to them. However this was to units I owned.

My ISP has reset the router. It is working good for now. If I run in to more problems. I'll try your suggestion. Thank You

  12. hi,

I have a 150mbps internet connection. I'm using my ISP router. When I for example have 3 tabs open in Brave and Open the Epic Games Store app. The internet stops working. I'll have to restart my router. The router is on the latest firmware at least that is what my service provider tells me. Is the router the culprit here ?

I'm from India and I use BSNL

Tiny 11 is a barelt functional mess juat use windows 11.

It is a old laptop. It has a Athalon A6 9225 CPU, 4gigs of 2166 ram and I took out the CD drive and installed a WD 240 gigs ssd.

It ran full fledged Windows 10. And it was sloppy and unbearable. Now it's far far better with Tiny 11 except for the gestures.

This is not my primary pc. Maybe if I use this as my daily driver i would have noticed things

You'll have to install Lenovo's trackpad driver package for that model.

This is one reason why I don't trust hacked-up "custom distros" of Windows.

Okay I'll check it. Except for this gesture thingy. The OS is pretty cool. It has made the laptop somewhat useful.

The Laptop has 4GB RAM, A6 - 9225 Athlon CPU, SSD.

  15. Hi,

    I installed tiny11 b1 on my old Lenovo laptop. It has a A6 - 9225 CPU, 4GB RAM, 240 gigs WD SSD.

Windows 10 was super heavy for that poor laptop so I installed tiny 11 b1.

The system is runs smooth and lot better comparing full fledged Windows 10.

The thing is after installing tiny 11. The Trackpad Gestures have stopped to work. I'm not able to use the double finger drag down gestures. Tap to open a file gestures and more.

    What should I do ?

    Thanks for the help.

    Roger that.

I would run a RAM test to verify that. And if errors are produced, then make sure BIOS is up to date. If not and BIOS gets updated, and this fixes the errors, then great. If it does not, try disable XMP/DOCP and see if that fixes the errors.

I have a Gigabyte Mobo H 310M. How do I update it. I downloaded the required files from Gigabyte's site. After that I don't quite understand

BSOD can happen because of many things.

I guess I would start out simple; are your PC overheating? Try download HWiNFO and start it while playing a game or running a benchmark in window mode, and look at the temperatures.

If good temperatures, consider running a RAM test that would produce any errors if RAM is faulty (can also be CPU or motherboard in this case).

And of course make sure that every driver, firmware and BIOS is up to date. Also, Windows might just be corrupt; consider formating Windows if nothing works.

Hi thank you for your help. I removed everything, cleaned and put my PC back. And it worked. Later I used WhoCrashed. Looks like it's the Memory.

Also, BlueScreenView and WhoCrashed can give more info on the BSOD. And Windows reliability monitor.

wait for RDNA3 announcement/release and see if that drops the price of current gen further. but definitely 3060 or 6600, if you're not going to upgrade anything else.

    Okay thanks

That may be true but I just personally wouldn’t risk putting a new GPU in a system with a bad PSU. Good-enough PSUs are cheap and I would rather spend $30 on a new PSU and $200 on a GPU, rather than risk spending $200 on a GPU twice, and replacing the PSU anyway.

If it has a gray label, then maybe no. If it’s orange label then it probably would.

It has a orange one. For my current setup 450W is more than enough I guess.

Now if I'm upgrading my GPU I will also upgrade my psu thank you

Oh wow that is a really bad PSU. A tier D or F on the tier list. I would suggest getting a new PSU before you get a GPU

Its not the best I know that but at least its not gonna blow up like a bomb right ?
