The only future proof cooler is Noctua with the free mounting brackets for future sockets.

Ralf got a reaction from NewMaxx in Lexar NM620 SSD 2TB is a good Nvme ?
r/NewMaxx but a dude on Amazon recently got the QLC too.

Ralf got a reaction from kokosnh in Lexar NM620 SSD 2TB is a good Nvme ?
From what I can find the Lexar comes with either Maxio or InnoGrit controller and maybe YMTC TLC, Silicon Power swapped to QLC at 2TB. All those cheap drives are basically the same lottery with china nand or QLC and mostly bad controllers.

Ralf got a reaction from SorryBella in Latest PSU Tier List? And also, do I need a new PSU?
https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/
I would personally buy Corsair RMx Shift(if it fits your case) or RMx, unless you plan to buy a new one after 12V-2x6 comes out.

Ralf got a reaction from Indian pc builder in buy rtx 4000 or wait for 5000? also what abt amd?

Ralf got a reaction from RevGAM in What do YOU think are the best 140mm LGA1700 air coolers?
Scythe Susanoo can fit a 200mm fan.

Ralf got a reaction from closiah in My Gpu Burnt Up
PCB layers are most likely fused together. Fixing it in a shop like Krisfix will cost more than a new RTX2060, assuming it's even fixable and the gpu chip isnt dead.

If you dont mind the HXi clicking noise when the PC is at idle, go for it.

Ralf reacted to -rascal- in 4070ti tuf using a 4x(6+2)8 pin connector
??? What?
The "120W" is the +3.3v and +5v voltage rails.
Nowhere does it say your PCI-E power connectors are 120W each.
The PCI-E power cables are from the +12V power rail.
You have a single 83.3A +12v rail = 1000W from your PCI-E connectors combined.
Graphics Card pull power from the +12V, and NONE from the +3.3v or +5v.

Ralf got a reaction from podkall in WD blue SN570 1TB vs Kingston NV2 1tb
Kingston NV2 is hardware lottery QLC trash, Crucial P2 can drop to USB 2.0 sustained write speeds, so I would rather buy the WD SN570.

Ralf got a reaction from Needfuldoer in i can't connect power cable to the motherboard.
If it's so hard to get the money together to buy stuff, I wouldn't risk using a psu made for Pentium 4 or older.

Ralf got a reaction from Radium_Angel in How to properly clean this graphics card?
Put it in the dishwasher and let it dry overnight.

Any reason why you went with DDR4 and a mediocre Evga G+ psu?

Ralf got a reaction from Origami Cactus in Will I see a noticable difference ? 9900K Upgrade

Ralf got a reaction from Eigenvektor in Does running a 24gb GPU on pcle5.0 x8 slot impact the performance vs running it at pcle5.0 x16
The only PCIe 5.0 gpu out there is the Nvidia H100 PCIe with 80GB HBM2e.
